Save Some Time on Rocket Belt
On the Rocket Belt Pilot Class Test 1, there is a secret passage in the cave that can help you get to the end in a faster time! After you enter, there should be a couple of turns before you come to a turn where there is a pointy rock hanging down from the ceiling, followed by a long corridor. At the end of it, go till you see the first light on the wall, and turn sideways. You should see a passageway leading up. Go in it and fly up(slowly, don't want to hit the ceiling), this should take you into a small tunnel going forward. When you get to the end, go down(slowly) until you reach the bottom and you can see the way out. Congratulations, you just passed by a whole section of the cave in a matter of seconds.

 

Save Some Time on Gyrocopter
On the Gyrocopter Pilot Class Test 1, there are 4 White Rings that can get you through the course in enough time to land accurately and get points!
After the 5th Blue Ring, take a sharp left and up, and head toward the big island with the mountains. Between the two peaks, in a little slot, is one White Ring. Carefully fly through it and take a smooth right. There you will see the second White Ring, in front of the small island. Go through this and take a quick right and down a bit, so you can get the 11th Blue Ring the first time. Now, after you fly through the 12th or next Blue Ring, take a hard right and pull up. You will see the third White Ring in the middle of the mountain. This will be in the little slot just like the 1st White Ring. After this one, go down towards the water and left. You should see the final White Ring right over the water and icebergs. When approaching this, slow down a bit and start to turn left a little as well. That way, when you clear it, you are headed straight for the runway.
After you clear the last White Ring, your time should be about 2:00:00 where as if you had gone the other way it would have been about 2:30:00. So now all you have to do is land, which shouldn't be too hard, as long as your not going 250Kmph, then it might be hard.

 

Sad President
Go to the human cannonball modeor Gyrocopter (missles) in the Mt.Rushmore level and hit one of the president's faces, not Mario's. The president's face will turn sad.

 

Warps
From San Francisco to New York
Using the Rocket Belt, head to New York and look for the park with the Secret Star. Just to the west is a green building with a bottom level entrance. Go inside and you'll see an N64 logo on the wall. Fly out the opposite end and you'll end up in San Francisco. From then on, you can go from San Francisco to New York, too.

From Miami to Seattle
Head towards Miami and look for the open Airplane hangar near the space port. Fly _straight_ inside and turn around and go right back out. You'll reemerge in Seattle. Like in the other warp, once you do this you'll be able to go from Seattle to Miami, too.

 

Refuel your Vehicles
While there isn't a code to give you unlimited fuel, there are other ways to refuel your vehicles. There are two gas stations on the "Little States" island from which you can refuel. If you follow the road to the northwest from Cape Canaveral in Florida, you'll see a gas station on your left. Fly around in there until you hear the same noise you hear when you take off from a hopping pad; you need to be close to the ground. Also, near the nuclear power plant (in the midwest) is a little town. If you fly into that town with either a rocketpack or the gyrocopter you can get a free refill of gas by going under a little gas station roof! This helps you a lot if you are just exploring or are low on gas for a mission!

 

PilotWings 64 Cannonball Tips

One of the biggest thrills found in PilotWings 64 is the ability to shoot yourself halfway across the country like a cannonball. Since the only place available for a soft landing is a landing target, below are all the numbers you'll need to get there on your first shot.

While the following numbers are guaranteed to get you inside the bull's eye, you may need to make some minute adjustments to ensure a rating of 25 points on each shot. Also remember to recalibrate the cannon after every shot. Just leaving the cannon on your last setting and firing a second time will result in an even lower score than the previous attempt. While most of these shots are calibrated for full power, some require less. In these cases, a little trial and error will get the best results.

Just one final word about those all important, extra creative shots (like pegging a hang glider). Remember, a hang glider is moving in space relative to your cannon's position, so you'll have to lead the target just a bit to get that way-cool midair collision. Break a leg!

 

Get a 100 on Jumble Hopper, mission 3

Jump between the building you start on and the building in front. You will notice a doorway on the building in front. Go through this into the Nintendo building and out of the other doorway. You are teleported to near to the end of the level. You can get 100 every time. It is difficult to get in the doorway, so I worked out an easier way. Aim against the opposite building so as you bounce into or close to the doorway. This makes it easier.

 

Replace Mario on Mt. Rushmore with Wario

1.Select Cannonball, aim for Mario, and Kaboom!
2.Mario's face will be replaced by Wario's.
3.Wario stays there until you repeat the above steps to switch him back.

 

Day Into Night

On the first level find where the waterfall begins and fly into the tunnel, and the game will pause for a second, when you come out it will be night!

 

Positions of the stars

Holiday island- On the Northeast side of the island, tucked away underneath a rock formation by the beach on the coast of the island.

Everfrost Island- On the NorthEast side of the main island, follow the waterfalls to the right and the star will be inside of a cave.

Crescent Island- On the north side of the island inside a small cave along the coast.

Little States- In the middle of Central Park New York.

 

Instant Birdman Suit
On the first level(the island), fly under the land bridge and
touch the star that is there, then you will instantly be
teleported above the island and you will be in the birdman
suit.
