1080º Snowboarding
Mad Air
At the main menu , go to training.
When the person says "GO!" you instantly go forward. When this happens, press the Z button, this makes you go faster . Now, go through the half pipe.
Stay to the right of the pipe and then gather alot of speed.
Now quickly go left and you should be facing the wall at a good speed.
At a good distance of going off the wall , press the A button and hold until your board is based on the red line on the wall , when the tip of the board is almost off the wall , let go of the A button . The snowboarder should go so high that the camera changes angles. Now you can do major stunts even though they will not be recorded.
If done properly, you'll get some mad air. The best player to use for this jump is Dion Blaster .
Be in Second and First
This a cool glitch I found, in the first track in match race when the guy is in front of you go to the side of a mountian. It will say you are in first put a guy is in front of you.
Shadow Glitch
First you have to have the Penguin Board which you can aquire by doing all the stunts in training mode. Second, Choose any mode, pick any character, then pick the Penguin Board. While you are racing, push A to jump. When in the air look at your shadow. Strangely your shadow is in the shape of a snowboard.
Fastest Way Through The Tunnel
Then you get to the tunnel in Mountain Village, turn right at the first fork in the trail. When you come to a second fork, turn left. After a while you will see a light at the end of the tunnel. Do a tuck (Z button) and fly out as far as possible to avoid crashing. Do not jump. After you get past the two logs, go straight until there is a drop off. Jump off and you will land on some mud that goes down to a mogul and a house. This will get you to the village faster than taking an alternate route through the tunnel.
Go Past the Finish Line
To be able to snowboard past the finish line you must be in a match race. You can do this with anybody and any board on any course. Make your way down to the finish line. It doesn't matter if you are in first or second. Before you pass the finish line, press start and go to retire. You will be able to continue snowboarding. This looks the best on Deadly Falls because you will go off the cliff!
Head-On Collison
The first thing you must have is access to the Dragon Cave level.( any player and board should work) To reach the glitch you must first start off like normal. Then you must go and drop down that first steep hill that leads to the neon signs. Go off the edge of that cliff with the signs on it, and land at the bottom. Once at the bottom of the cliff you need to look to the right. You will then see a giant rock in the middle of the fork in the road. Start off fast and gain speed, then run head on into the rock. (you might want to ollie and hit the rock to make sure you get on top of the rock). Then you should flip ontop of the rock. Instead on landing on top you should free fall for a while, and see some funny back grounds and then you'll slam into the ground near a giat green rope bridge.
Dragon Cave Glitch
Go to the Dragon Cave. Once you are going down get some mad speed and jump off between the two neon signs. You need to get some crazy air and you need to hold a mute grab (Do it by holding up left and pressing the B button) Now hold the B button until you crash at the bottom if you do it correctly the screen will Flicker and the next thing you know you are on top of the cliff again
Mysterious Ghost?
To do this trick, save the ghost data onn any track, but to make it easy use Air Make or Half Pipe. Then play the course that the ghost data is on. As soon you start press right-C to make the ghost dissapear. But there will still be the trail in the snow from the ghost's snowboard. Odd huh?
Fall off the Course
Just follow these steps:
Go to Mountain Village with any character
Play level normally until you reach the tunnel
While in the tunnel go to the right side of the fork two times
Don't jump off the cliff but instead move your character toward the wall in front of the jump.
Move to the wall where all the snow lines meet together and hold the anolog stick to the upper left and hold it there. If done correctly, your character will slip into a sky dive and fall of the course (the graphics on the wall make it very easy to see)
You only have about 7 seconds in the air and then suddenly you are on the left side of the cave
This trick takes alot of practice to master but it is well worth it
Cycadelic Glitch
First select any character and board and select the mountain village course. After that go through the course and where the course is ending there are two ramps that go nowhere (in to a wall) pull back on the control stick and hold "a" and jump off the ramp holding back. You should fall in between the house and the wall. You will then see some really strange stuff, it's different every time. It will spit you out on the track by the finish line. It is hard to do, be patient.
Weird Glitch
Here is an odd glitch I found in 1080 snowboarding. To be able to see it, you need the 'Dragon Cave' level accessible. This level can be obtained by beating the 'blue square' (hard) difficulty level in Match Race.
So far, this glitch is in it's 'beta' stage, because it has very specific needs to be met. In Time Attack, pick Rob Haywood, with the Tahoe 155 board. Choose 'Dragon Cave' as the level.
Make your way to the first sharp right-hand turn, with the neon glowing hand signs. I get to it by taking the shortcut on your left, just after the last orange-red pole. What you want to do is jump off of the cliff between the first two neon hand-signs. If you get off the cliff safely and are in the air, do the following:
Get some madd air.
Do a mute grab by holding up-left and pressing the B button.
When you are in the mute grab, hold it by holding down the B button. Letting go of the analog stick won't let go of the mute grab.
Now, work the analog stick like crazy (go left, right, up, down, circles, etc.)
Don't let go of the B button.
The whole point of this glitch, if done correctly, will result in a wreck at the near-bottom of the mountain-obviously for not letting go of the B button. If you are at the bottom of the mountain and nothing 'noticable' happened, then restart the race. What should happen, is just before you wreck yourself on the cliff bottom, you should see a quick flicker on the screen, and end up at the TOP of the cliff, wrecked up by the neon signs! I can get this to work 9 out of 10 times, so keep trying it if you cannot get it at first.
Fast Start After Crashing
After crashing, you normally just get up and slowly start up again. Well, just like the Fast Start, you can press forward and give yourself a small thrust forward. After crashing a lot, this helps greatly.
Rappin' Replay
During the Replay for the Halfpipe, move the control stick in any direction and you will hear record scratches, like some DJ's do during some songs.
Watch Yourself in the Intro
First, ride through any course in 1080 and save your ghost when you finish. (Select Time Attack so you don't have to worry about not finishing on time) Then, select 'quit' and you should return to the introduction screen with Kensuke Kimachi snowboarding away. After you watch him pass the finish line, a movie of your saved ghost will play and you can now watch yourself.....Professional Style!
Major Points
#1 - First you need to go into Trick Attack. Then select Ricky Winterborn and the snowboard that shows up on your screen. Then choose the Dragons Cave level. Go through the level until you reach the second bridge. Once close to it hold the jump button to give you a higher jump. Release the jump button so you hit the right side of the snow wall and the beginning of the bridges wall. Then press left on the analog stick. You should make it over the left side of the bridge. Do as many tricks as you can until you fall through the bottom of the snow. You will have about 10 seconds to do some more tricks until you land, so get ready. You will land next to the green fence almost at the end of this course. This is a hard trick to execute and may take you a few times but it really racks up the points.
#2 - At the start of the halfpipe, immediately turn to the left or right. Proceed until you are near the wall, then make a turn towards the pipe. If you are in the correct position, you will move up a small invisible ramp and it will boost you high into the air. The best part of this glitch is that you land every trick, no matter how bad your landing position is (exception: not letting go on a grab). Can you say '13000 combo bonus'?
Trick Landing Trick!
Enter training mode,
In the trick list select a trick you can do
Then go off a jump and do the selected trick
Before you hit the ground go to the trick list and select a trick that you can't do.
Land then check your trick list it should say that you' ve completed the trick
Control the Opening Camera
When the game starts up and you see the guy snowboarding, press the up C button and you will be in control of the camera. The joystick moves the camera around and the D-Pad zooms in and out.

Panda Border Board Tricks
Normally when starting a race in 1080, you will start out slow. During Note: All tricks must be done with the Panda Border
Back Flip - When in the air, press R and down on the analog stick. Panda will now perform a back flip in the air, worth 100 points. You can also perform this move close to the ground.
Front Flip - When in the air, press R and up on the analog stick. Panda will now perform a front flip in the air, worth 100 points. You can also perform this move close to the ground.
One Foot - When in the air, hold down and B Your Panda will now do a one-foot trick in the air, worth 400 points.
Panda Tweak - When in the air, press R and move the analog stick in a counterclockwise circle, then press R and left (reverse these controls to do a Panda Tweak in the opposite direction). This trick earns you 300 points.
Shortcuts & Track Hints
CRYSTAL LAKE - Right after the big jump, you will see a house with a ramp beside it straight ahead. Go off the course and hit the ramp, and you will find a shorter route than the normal one.
CRYSTAL PEAK - Right after coming out of the tunnel, you will turn right. You will then see two different pathes. Hit the right one. Be sure that after coming out of the tunnel you make the right turn pretty sharp, or you may not be able to turn in time to hit the right path. The right path is much shorter and you will bupass some tough obstacles.
GOLDEN FOREST - There aren't really any shortcuts here, but at the two forks be sure to go left both times, for a shorter path.
MOUNTAIN VILLAGE - Inside the cave may seem like a maze, but stick to the right side and you will find your way through much easier.
DRAGON CAVE - When the track starts you will be in a cave, after the last orange pole make a left and jump up on to the powder area. Follow the powder down to an opening in the gate, jump off and back on to the track. Once your on track jump off just to the right of the sign straight ahead of you. This short cut will gain you a lot of time. Good luck!!
DRAGON CAVE 2 - When in the Dragon Cave course, there is a way to boardslide a rail ( if you skate or snowboard, you know what I'm talking about). Near the end of the course, after the big drop off, there is a house with a moose head in it. Instead of turning away from the house, go straight through it. If you keep going through it, you'll come to a rail . To ride staright over it, just go straight. To actually boardslide it ( go perpendicular to it), press z and jump. When in the air, turn the analog stick to the left ( regular footed) or the right ( goofy footed). Just keep on it and turn it the opposite way you got on. This is a pretty cool trick if you do it right.
DRAGON CAVE 3 - Make sure you're on the ledges after the first bridges, dont fall off, and go left when the path splits, than left again after the rock. When the path ends, it looks like you'll hit the wall, but jump and you might get in the cave. It's very hard to do but well worth it. I cut off 10 seconds going through it!
DRAGON CAVE 4 - Right after the first bridge take a left try not to fall off. Then when there is another two ways to go take the one on the left again, turn hard right to not fall off. Then straight in front of you, you will see a tunnel you have to jump to get in. It saves a lot of time.
DRAGON CAVE 5 - This trick gives you a small shortcut in the Dragon Cave course. When you first start out, you will take a curve to the left. After that, there should be a big curve to the right (There should be arrows pointing where to go). Instead of turning, go straight off the cliff (Press [A] to go faster off the jump. If you do this correctly, you should catch major air. You want to press Z while landing. You have then missed two major curves.
DRAGON CAVE 6 - The course is Dragon Cave, and it is a just a bit after the start, just to the left of the first hand pointing you to turn right. Between the hand-sign and the fence is a small area which can be used as a jump to save you between 5 and 6 seconds on your total time.
CRYSTAL LAKE - When racing on Crystal Lake you will go off a big jump. At the bottom slowly head to the right. When you see a fork in the trail take the right side for a much quicker and easier route.
DEADLY FALLS - Once you start the race you have to start going right. Once you meet the cliff try to stay on the narrow strip of snow to your far right. Keep on doing this, stay as far right as you can untill you reach the forest. This has just save you some major time which you need against the Gold Boarder.
MOUNTAIN VILLAGE - About mid-way through the couse, in the ice cave, stay right and take the road down the mountain. Go through the first opening in the road and head all the way to the right and go towards the first house you see (near the big mogul). Go through the small space between the house and the mountain. Stay to the right of the course and you will come up to some houses burried deep in the powder once in the village. You can board over the houses if you want, but it's best to just stick to the right and go throgh the powder. Doing this will save you some time because you wont have to worry about parked cars an curvy roads. Just be careful when you come back on the road beause there wil be a yellow ramp in your path that could slow you down. Good luck.
Alternate Route to Shortcut in CRYSTAL LAKE - In Crystal Lake there is a house with a ramp next to it, if you hit the ramp it will take you to a much shorter route, but sometimes this isn't easy to do. So, if you turn a tiny bit left right befor you hit the ramp you should find an easier and faster way to access this shortcut.
GOLDEN FOREST - This is a shortcut I found that saves me about five seconds. In Golden Forest, as you get to the frozen river, go right through the middle of the fork, and up the big bank through the powderd snow. You will see a log jetting up from the snow( which is cool to jump, but decreases time). If you go to the left of the log, you should end up back on the path. If you tuck (pressing Z) and dodge all the trees, this should save you several seconds.
CRYSTAL LAKE - Go to the crystal lake course. Go to the cabin on the right, where there is also a ramp. Go off the ramp and continue along to the end of this first shortcut. Then jump up onto the ledge and continue along this on the right side of the course. You will pass a backwards Nintendo 64 sign and this is sure to save you some time.
Fast Start
Normally when starting a race in 1080, you will start out slow. During the countdown right before you start (3-2-1), wait until the 1 disappears and press Up on the Control Stick. This will cause you to lunge forward and give you a much faster start. It may take a bit of practice though to get your timing perfect.
