THE CAT'S MEOW

My cat is The Cat's Meow!!

Our cat is a friend of the family and even though he is not particularly special to those outside, this cat is personality plus to us. He is a tabby with extremely large eyes.

He's enormous, weighing in the region of 20lbs but on his last check up, the vet pronouced him fit and not overweight. He's just extremely large boned, very tall with a large head. However, despite is physical size he's very sweet and docile. This cat has grown up with small children and is very patient and adaptable. He is about nine years old and for the first seven was a totally an indoor cat except for supervised visits outside. Recently, I have moved to a new locality and luckily the environment allows him to be let outside. So far he has been fine. I truly believe that his size has helped him.

Of course, our cat is so interesting to us as we understand his idiosyncrasies and habits. I will share some of the cuter ones. Pepper is his name and he is in love with the fridge. He purrs constantly to it and attaches himself like glue to the front of the door. Certainly they have a language and he greets me every morning with a hello meow, short and clipped but then soon after comes the demanding morning meow "I am going to die, if you don't feed me now!!".

He loves snuggling in between the bedcover and the blanket and is completely buried. Sometimes it is concerning because you fear he is going to suffocate. Here he is sleeping peacefully on our couch, another favourite spot.
