Show Report

Show Report: Mrs. Robinson's, Kitchener.
September 26, 1998

Third Rusty Nails show I saw in a week! Life is good!

Mrs. Robinsons is the place I have seen the band the most. And every Mrs. Robinsons show has the dancing guy there (anyone who's been there will know who I'm talking about), so the crowd's always into it.

The sound at Mrs. Robinsons usually leaves something to be desired, but after your ears adjust it's not that bad. And the beer was better than last night in Hamilton, so i'm not complaining.

My hilights of the show:
- Chris Plock is the hardest working man is show business. When he's not playing, he's dancing! Unbelieveable!
- ANOTHER new song tonight! I don't know where Ron gets them from. This one's a rocking number called "Who's Gonna Drop the Bomb"
- Ron introduced "Suffer Me' as the song his Grandma says is gonna buy him a yacht
- the band didn't play "Partners In Crime", or "St. Valentine's Day Massacre", but the crowd really liked the 'new-country' "Turpentine", and it's really growing on me too
- starting to learn the lyrics to "Small Victories". Only Ron could write a beautiful song that starts with "Take a morining pee, drop some LSD..."
