Show Report: La Luna, Hamilton
September 25, 1998

It's always great when the Nails play in my hometown. Even if La Luna is comparable in size to my basement, but with shittier sightlines. So this means we got there bright and early and got wicked close seats. Also, a familiar face was working the door - Ron! I guess that's how it goes when you're indie. But that means I got to see the guys 4 times in a 2 week stretch, so I'm not complaining!

After waiting, and drinking possibly the WORST Labatt's Blue on tap I have ever experienced, the band finally hit the stage.

My hilights of the show:
- the band jammed on 'Iron Man'. Who'd have thought they'd all know it! It sounds pretty good on saxophone, by the way.
- the guys played a new song, a fast little punky number called "Euphoria". Ron also played a new one solo, but I'll be damned if I can remember it's name.
- the guys played "Eating the Rich", the first time in a while i've heard the Nails play a Lowest of the Low song
