Hello All!! My name is Tina. I am from North Carolina, USA. I have suffered
from Hidradenitis Suppurativa for about 2 years now. I first started showing
symptoms when I was 3 months pregnant.
This condition has made my life a living hell. It has affected my daily life,
my social life, and most importantly my ability to play with and enjoy my son.
I have to give much thanks to my love, Tom. He has been so understanding
and caring during my "flare" ups. He has giving me so much support!

Information on Hidradenitis Suppurativa
- Hidrandenitis is inflammation on the apocrine and eccrine(sweat)glands
- This is an uncommon disorder in which boil-like lumps develop under the arms, breast, in the grion area, buttocks, and even behind the ears.
- This is not contagious.
- This disorder shows itself during puberty, and has appeared as late as post-menopausal age. Although I developed it at first when I was 3 months pregnant.
- This is a painful and scarring disease.
- If you think you or someone you know may suffer from this disorder I recommend you see a doctor as soon as possible.
