This film is about a gang of crooked men. Eddy (Nick Moran) is an excellent card player until he loses in a rigged game of three card brag. This then puts him in debt of £500,000 to the local mob boss Hatchet Harry. Eddy with his mates Tom (Jason Flemying), Soap (Dexter Fletcher, a rather irriating little actor) and Bacon (Jason Statham) have to somehow find the money within a week! They overhear their neighbours planning to rob a group of public school cannabis cultivators, so they decide to intervene and take the money themselves. Along the way they encounter many other characthers such as Barry the Baptist and Big Chris (Played by well known in Britian, Vinnie Jones a controversial Soccer player). This film goes like a flash and has a good story as well as good style and camera work. Depending on your opinion of British films you should still like it either way. If you ask me it's one of the best films of 1998. It's done very well in Britian so hopefully where ever you are you wil be able to track it down. It is an excellent black comedy with good action scenes for such a low budget.
