Here is the new Java Games Page. Since first connecting to the Net I've always been interested in Java Games. It's always been fun to play old classics such as Space Invaders and Breakout, because it can be quite hard to find these games, I've started a page especially for it. Currently the only Java game I have is Breakout. If anyone knows where I can find a version of Space Invaders please contact me at: jennifer.krychek@virgin.net because I would love to have a version on this page.
1) Breakout
What's it all about?
Breakout is an old classic from the mid 1980s. The rules are simple, you control a paddle which you must move to bounce the ball that is flying towards you into the bricks. You need quick reflexes to keep up with it!
How do I control it?
You control the paddle with your mouse. To move the paddle you simply swipe the mouse across. There are also options to pause, to change the colour and to change the size of the paddle.
Anything else I need to know?
I suggest that you change your internet broswer to full screen mode because then you can see all the controls without scrolling up and down. Also send your times (for how long it took you to clear the blocks, the timer is at the top of the board) to me and I'll start a high score page. Prizes? Well there aren't any but you want the glory don't you??
