3. RIVER PATROL (The basic WET EPIC scenario)

In this game, a River patrol/assault section makes their way up river into the midst of a full blown conflict. With no real other options they join in the fray! This is an extension to other scenarios and cannot be played out in its own right.

Notes:

This scenario is more of an add on to any of the other scenarios already in the game. You must first choose another MAIN scenario to play to (not compatible with "retrieve that data!").

Forces:

The forces can be chosen in accordance to the regulations of the army you are picking and the limitations incorporated into the MAIN scenario which you have selected for the game. The only additions to this point is that both sides may take up to 25% of their force in Aquatic units from the appropriate Aquatic Units list for their army - including generic units.

Setup:

Setup the board as you would for any other game - according to any restrictions implicated in the MAIN scenario notes. The Only addition is that there must be a river running approximately along the half way point of the board.

Further Notes:

At the beginning of the game both sides make a note on a piece of paper which turn they wish each of their aquatic detachments to turn up on the board. The only limitation is that they may not turn up on the first turn of play.

Also at the beginning of the game, each player must roll a D6. The highest score gets the choice of hits units arriving heading down or up stream (extra movement). This systems mean that an army could have all of their units on the table from the second turn - setting up an advanced force to hold up the enemy or they could hold back their forces in the hopes that they will then be able to attack at close quarters or even appear behind the enemy lines!

Victory Conditions:

The victory conditions are set to those of the main scenario which you are playing - remember that this is an addition to other scenarios to incorporate WET EPIC and not an entire scenario in its own right.
