"I bet that would look so awesome on you!" Sarah exclaimed.
"Let me go try it on." Geena said, heading for the dressing room. A few moments later, Geena emerged from the dressing room wearing the dress, her lond reddish hair beautifully contrasting with the green velvet.
"Wow." Sarah said. "That's the one."
"You think so?"
"No, I know so." Sarah replied.
"I think so too." Geena said, gazing at herself in the mirror.
"Now we have to get you matching shoes, a purse, and some jewelry too." Sarah giggled.
"It's only the prom, Sarah." It's not like I'm getting married or something." Geena told her friend. Sarah was going to be out of town the weekend of prom, so she was helping Geena get ready.
"I know. But you're going with ISaac!" she paused. "I still can't believe you invited him!"
"Well, since he doesn't have a prom, I invited him to mine."
"You have major hots for him, you know it." Sarah laughed.
"I do not!" Geena shrieked. "We're just friends." she said, knowing that was COMPLETELY UNTRUE. She and Isaac had been dating for months, she just hadn't exactly told Sarah.
Sarah smiled evily. "Sure."
Geena slugged Sarah playfully. "Come on, let's buy this dress and forget about Isaac for now."
"okay." Sarah agreed.
