Dorothy (Luxton) Moreau
Moncton, New Brunswick

Years in the Canyon:
1954-1966
Married To: Nigel Moreau

Here is a brief outline as to my life happenings since I left the Canyon over 30 years ago!

I moved, for a short time, to Burnaby B.C. and stayed with my mother's sister. I worked for awhile while there and I also spent some time visiting family in Seattle Washington, Vernon B.C. and on Vancouver Island and Gibson's Island. From there, in 1967, I moved to Ottawa. In Ottawa I married and had a daughter whom I named Luella. She was born in late 1968. I divorced and in 1984, I remarried. I moved to Moncton N.B. in April 1978. In Ottawa I was working for Immigration Headquarters and I requested a transfer. I was then transferred to Superannuation Directorate and sent to Moncton N.B. I now have 28 plus years in the Federal Government and will retire to North Bay Ontario, (near where we have our cottages on Lake Talon)in about 3 years time. My husband Nigel Moreau was originally from Timmins, Ontario and his family is in Ontario. His brother, Glenn Moreau of North Bay Ontario is also a Canyonite.

I enjoy our cottage and fishing, relaxing etc. I also collect porceline dolls and other dolls too. I have one room dedicated to dolls and their paraphanalia.

My Father is still living. He has remarried and is enjoying his retirement. My mother, Luella Luxton, passed away in Timmins, Ontario on 10 December 1996.
