Former Canyonites re-unite for the first time in 20 years. Come and get re-aquainted with friends and neighbours from the past, for a fun filled weekend fit for the whole family. 

The weekend will be kicked off with a Friday night Meet and Greet Social.  Saturday morning will begin with a full breakfast and opening ceremonies. Saturday afternoon you will have a choice of a 9 Hole golf tournament, Chief Commanda cruise or a beach BBQ. The fun will continue Saturday evening with a Dinner & Dance and charity casino. The weekend will then be topped off with a Sunday “Farewell” Brunch. Enjoy Memorabilia displays throughout the weekend and take home some new memories.

Friday night, Saturday morning, Saturday evening and Sunday will take place at the Sam Jacks Complex, otherwise known as the West Ferris Community Centre on Lakeshore Drive in North Bay. The Saturday afternoon barbeque is scheduled to take place at Lee Park, which is a beautifully treed park, central to North Bay and right across the street from a beach.

There are a number of hotels along Lakeshore Drive, many of which we have already reserved blocks of rooms, some at special rates, for the attendees of the reunion.

We have also secured financial backing for operational expenses with Ontario Power Generation as our exclusive sponsor. 

This is all very exciting news.

Anyone may being ordering tickets now... through July 1st. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Arthritis Society. Please be aware of the fact that some venues are limited in numbers and therefore may sell out earlier than others... the golf tournament for example can accommodate just over 70 participants. The Cruise can accommodate a few hundred.... the rest of the events can handle up to 1000 people. If we actually grow beyond that we will take whatever steps are necessary to accommodate the numbers.
