Clown Bean Bag Toss

You will need:

Cut the white material into 2 circle shapes. Fold the yarn into desired lengths and knot the ends, to make the hair with the knotted ends to be sewn inside the beanbag to hold it in. Keep adding yarn all around the top and sides of the bag until you are happy with the amount of "hair" you have created. I found it easier to sew it all together at the same time, but if you want to, you can sew it onto the back of the head now so that when you sew the front to the back, it won't move around. Just be sure to sew it with the knots on the edge and the loops into the middle of the circle on the outside.

Sew on buttons for eyes, nose, and mouth on the front piece. Place the front and back pieces together with the buttons in the middle and the inside out. Place the "hair" (if you haven't done it already) in between the pieces, and pin it all together. Use alot of pins so that it won't move on you when you are trying to sew it. Sew around the outside, leaving about 3 inches to turn it right-side out. Do this, and then stuff it about 3/4 full with dried beans or rice. Then you can either hand sew, or machine sew carefully the opening shut.

Then you just need something to throw them at or into. We used a pot, but I think a better idea would be to take an old piece of cardboard and cut holes into it. Mark each hole with a different score and keep track of how much each child gets total. I would let them throw it a couple of times! I give prizes for the highest score and the farthest away!

HAVE FUN!!
