1. The easiest thing to remember about articles is that “a” is used when the proceeding word starts with a consonate ie a dog, a yellow orid, a yellow banana. and “an” is used when words begin with a vowel sound ie an ugly duckling, an opinion, an honour.The pronounciation of “the” changes from “thuh” to “thee” before a word begininning with a vowel sound.
2. A common error is to put the before most when most is adverbial.
WRONG!! What people want the most is security
WRONG!! That is what they want the most of all

Example: The Orient Express THIS IS RIGHT!!!
