March for Peace joined
A group of Santa Barbarans will join the World Peace March at Venice, Calif. on Saturday, while other local residents will show symbolic support by inviting a friend to walk across town.
The local plans were explained by David Crockett Williams and Mary Jane Bagwell, who are in charge of organizing local support for the march across the nation. Marchers are scheduled to arrive in New York City in time for the United Nations second special session on disarmament in May, sponsors said.
