Walking for Peace
Kasey Mitchell, Donna Patrick and Wonono Rubio headed
up the Global Peace Walk 1995 Tuesday as it passed
through Leavenworth on Fourth Street on its way to the
U.S. Penitentiary. The marchers are planning a three-day
fast for inmate Leonard Peltier before heading for Baldwin
City. They hope to be in San Francisco by June for a rally
on the 50th anniversary of the United Nations.
