American Peace March 2004, March 20th 11am departs United Nations Plaza in San Francisco after evening United Nations International Earth Day "Peace Bell Ringing Ceremony" at the moment of the Spring Equinox, arrives for Closing Ceremony on the October 24, 2004, 59th Anniversary of the ratification of the United Nations Charter (United Nations Day) at the Washington Monument Symbol of The Spirit of America, the spirit of truth, responsibility, accountability, peace, love, and harmony among all of our human family of life on this planet Earth of ours living all as friends.
Closing Ceremony marking the ending of the United Nations 1995-2004 International Decade of The World's Indigenous Peoples, and midway of the 2000-2009 International Decade of Creating a Culture of Peace for the 21st Century.
Route and schedule details for the Main 2004 Route from SF to DC will be developed between November 15, 2003, and January 15, 2004, by the networking of The American Peace March 2003-2004 Peace Relay Walking Campaign
