If I Had Just Known.

"Oh man, my feet are killin' me!" Turbine moaned as she dropped down onto her bed and fell asleep.

"She always could fall asleep before anyone." Crash looked over to the door where Carbine was leaning on the door frame holding her side.

"You took a pretty bad blow there C. You sure you're O.K?" He walked over to her and bent down slightly so he could look her in the eyes.

"I'm fine, just help me get to my bed will ya." She grimaced as he put his arm around her to support her weight.

"You should see a doctor." He watched her as she groaned and gasped."O.K. then." He picked her up and carried her over to her bed.

"Thanks Crash." Carbine managed a small smile as she slipped into sleep. Crash sat looking at her for a moment before getting up to stand by the window. "You had no clue what you had, Bro." HE shook his head as the memory of Carbine crashing through his door with tears pouring down her cheeks, gasping out that Throtle had broken up with her. He had walked over to her and comforted her for hours as she cried herself to sleep. He turned to look at her sharply as she moaned and rolled onto her side.

"He never knew, did he?" He shook his head and picked up his jacket from the chair. "you never told him about us, did you?" He sighed sadly. "No, you wouldn't have. I still love you, ya know." He leaned over and placed his hand lightly on her flat stomache."I really did love you. Both of you." He took his hand away and walked towards the door. "You didn't have to give up, Carbine. I would have come back if I had only known in time." With that, he walked out the door to his own room, thinking about what it would have been like to have a son with black hair, blue eyes and white fur.
