Overview:
The Tenma is a recent design, built primarily for use by Storm Phoenix
intelligence operations. The Tenma's weaponry makes the suit reasonably
formidable in combat, but its real purpose is stealth, and the Tenma will
rarely see a pitched battle.
Capabilities:
The Tenma's design is based heavily on House Mizuno's Snow Flame, although
it was developed by the Tenka, and the two Houses have no particularly
close relationship. A vaguely similar appearance is where the comparisons
must end, however. The most important feature of the Tenma is its armor,
the most advanced stealth armor avaliable, which makes the Tenma nearly
indetectable unless it is being specifically searched for. Other than this
armor the Tenma is not truly equipped for scouting, carrying no extra equipment
to assist in its mission. Instead--in true Tenka style--the Tenma was given
an armament intended to see the pilot back to base safely, where he or
she might relay the mission results in person. The Tenma-s armor-class
PPC will make lightly armored enemies think twice before engaging, and
with the suit's battle claw ripping armor from its target the weapon can
prove quite lethal even to BattleMechs.
Deployment:
The Tenma can be found in most Home Guard infantries, and--quite significantly--is
the armor of choice for the Ninjato Battalion, the military arm of the
Combine's intelligence network.
