Overview:
       The only Mech designed by House Mizuno, the Flame Lizard, represents a glaring departure from the House's usual policy of ballistic weapon use. It appears best suited to supporting Mizuno infantry.

Capabilities:
        The original Flame Lizard called for a quartet of the new Streak LRM-15 racks, as well as full armor, maximum speed for the chassis size, and jump capability.  Engineering proved this far too ambitious, so two LRM systems were downgraded to non-Streaks.  As well as conserving weight, this has been proven to keep an enemy guessing, as they never know which type of targeting system they are facing.  A half-ton left over after design specifications were met made room for a flamer which seems less a testament to combat effectiveness and more to the 'Mech's name.

Deployment:
       Production on this BattleMech is extremely slow because of its unusual chassis shape. The only currently existing Flame Lizard is deployed in the Mizuno Home Guard.
