The Bible may be intimidating if you have not read it in some time, but I say there is no time like the present, so I will wait here while you go get it, dust it off if it needs it and turn with me in the New Testament to 2 Timothy 4:2-5. It begins by telling us that we should preach the word and it's sound doctrines in all seasons, for there will come a time when people will not listen to sound doctrine and will go off to other teachers in search of answers, turning themselves away from the truth and believing fables, it ends by saying that we should continue though, to press on and do the work of evangelists. My how this sounds like the 90's!!! The people have turned from the principals of the bible and have sought other answers, just look at the rows upon rows of 'new age' materials in our stores, people today are doing things that were only done by witches and witch doctors in the past, contacting the dead, looking for answers in U.F.O.'s, aliens, the use of the tarot, even astrology; seekers of the dark side, when the Lord Jesus has called us into light!!! Let's listen to the apostle Paul in this enlightening epistle to Timothy, and turn from the darkness of the world into the light of our Lord!!!
