October 7th is our wedding anniversary. October 7, 1999 was our 20th anniversary. Being a total romantic, Daryl asked me, "Would you like to go to the dog pound?" 25 years is silver, 50 years is gold, 20 years is black & white animals. So we celebrated our 20th wedding anniversay at the Tipton Dog Pound. There was Dali, behind bars, barking and wagging her tail. I'm a sucker for a cute face and a hard luck story. So we loaded her up and brought her home. It's been happily-ever-after.
