Beth's Summer Trip to California

In July, Crystal drove (by herself!) to Oklahoma for a family reunion at her Grandparents house. On Sunday, July 14, Beth and Crystal left Oklahoma headed to Montana to visit Crystal's mom. They spent one night in Colorado and arrived at Crystal's mom's house on Tuesday. They spent a few days sight seeing and visitng with Crystal's 7 brothers and sisters. The girls made it to Crystal's other grandparents' house in Lincoln, California (near Sacramento) by the weekend. They shopped and drove around Northern California making one spectacular trip to San Francisco. They parked the car and rode the ferry into "The City" and then rented bicycles to ride around the hills of San Francisco. Beth flew home from Sacramento via Las Vegas and I picked her up in Amarillo on August 3rd. We spent the night in a motel and drove home on Sunday. Amarillo is about 3 1/2 hours from Indiahoma.

Beth's Fall Break Trip to Las Vegas

Beth's friend Crystal turned 21 over fall break in 2003. Her parents took her to Las Vegas for a four day celebration and invited Beth to join them. I drove Beth to Amarillo on Thursday, October 16, to catch a flight to Las Vegas. The girls stayed in one room, Crystal's parents stayed in another. They had a fun time. Some of the highlights were eating a very expensive meal, walking up and down the strip, checking out the various hotels, playing at the Circus Circus theme park, but of course the best part was SHOPPING. Beth broughthome wonderful souvenirs for everyone. Daryl picked her up in Amarillo on Sunday evening. It was good to have her home safely.
