Hi and welcome to my website. I wanted to share my love of cake decorating with everyone. It's always been a huge part of my life and only in the last few years have I expanded on it.
It all began with my mother. Growing up is full of memories of wonderful birthday cakes she made for my brothers and I. I think my favorite was my Strawberry Shortcake one. I'm blessed to have inherited a bit of her talent. Although I got my beginnings making mud pies in the backyard all day long, I eventually upgraded to my easy bake oven and finally a full fledged kitchen!
I won my first cake contest when I was in the fourth grade. With my mother's guide we made a banana split entirely out of cake. It even made the local paper. From that point on I was eager to do more and learn more. My mother encouraged me by asking me to help her with any of my family's birthday cakes.
A couple of years ago my best friend became engaged and I was thrilled to throw her bridal shower for her. I asked her what kind of cake would she like and she immediately said a doll cake. From then on everyone I knew became interested in my cake decorating and asked me to do their children's birthdays and even weddings!
