I went home last weekend to do a zoo run. Ended up seeing Devil, as well. Got back on Sunday night for a Spectator meeting. Nothing too interesting has happened this week, I guess. Graphic Design Portfolio started a new project - I'm going to redesign the Toy and Miniature Museum of Kansas City. So, working on logos and stuff right now. Jewelry designs are almost done and I'll show 'em off when they are. I'm painting a staircase. And Ceramics is starting to go horribly again, but we're going to use porcelain soon which I heard is easier to throw for those that think the stoneware is hard. Hope so. Web design is still simple. And seminar... is seminar. That's it for now!

I can't believe eight days have gone by since I last updated. These weeks have gone by super fast so far. Yes, it's almost 2AM. We just finished our first newspaper. I was in there since 5:15. Quite a work day! So, that's all done, and now that the first issue is done I'm a little less stressed about it. And I spent eight hours yesterday finishing a graphic design project, too bad I'm not getting paid for that. I'm helping Kelli Johnson design something for Personal Resources and she's paying me $50, plus I can put it in my portfolio. So, things are going well, but I'm excited to come home for a little bit!

I turned in my money for Europe today and picked up the packet to fill out for completed internship status. Ceramics is surprisingly going well so far. Web Design is slow. Some of the people in the class have never used Macs before, much less html and CSS. So, since I have done all this stuff, it's not a very stimulating course. Hopefully it will get better down the road!

We went to Cat's game on Saturday, and they won by a lot. Then Stephanie and I walked to main street and back and carried a TV a really long way. I went to the football game for twenty minutes and then we had a movie night. On Sunday we had a SMAG meeting and a Spectator meeting. I'm overwhelmed with this Spectator stuff, since I have no idea what I'm doing and I'm basically in charge of the photographers. I'll get it figured out eventually, but right now it makes me nervous. Yesterday we had a game night at Fish's house, and she had two international friends from the camp she works at over. One was from New Zealand and one was from England. So that was an interesting time. That's it for now!

Bruce sent me this
link and I signed up for it for next weekend. I think it should be a pretty cool opportunity and good to put on my resume. Today I'm going to go to the jewelry lab and work on stuff, since it's not open on weekends unfortunately. And we might see what we can do about going ice blocking (sliding down a hill on a big block of ice). At least, the idea is out there, but it might be saved for a later date. That's it for now!

Nothing much more to report on classes, so I just thought I'd make a quick update to say that we played capture the flag tonight. The other team cheated. The end.

I moved in a few days ago, but I wanted to wait until September to start writing, so I wouldn't have to make a full page for August and only use it once or twice. My classes are going well so far, but nothing much has started yet. In graphic design portfolio, we're doing a stamp collection. I think I'm going to do the evolution of the telephone as my theme, but I'm still thinking on it. Web design sounds like it's going to be pretty boring, since I know a lot of the stuff already. Half the people in the class are communications majors, so it's basically an introductory course and it'll be a slow mover. But it could be fun, nonetheless. My other classes are all pretty much classes I've taken before, just with different mediums, so those should be good. Last night we played games and watched Enchanted. My new bike is pretty sweet. And that's really it for now.
