This afternoon, faculty and staff members volunteered to get pied in the face by students who paid a dollar per pie (whipped cream in a bowl). So, Stephanie and I went to watch that. I have a couple pictures that I'll put up eventually; they're probably not great because I took them with my phone. We just got back from Fame. We got free shirts, posters, and buttons. I didn't really care much for the movie. I think it was over-hyped, and that ruined it. It was okay, but I wouldn't want to see it again.

Haven't done too much today, really, but I figured I'd update. Everyone has tons of homework, so no fun is to be had. I did my homework in an hour or two, then I read Salem's Lot for the rest of the day. I'm a little more than halfway done, and chances are I'll keep going for a little bit before bed. Signing off.

Last night we went to see The Sound of Music. I think they did a really good job on it, especially for not being able to rehearse too long. After that we made ramen and hung out for a while. Today we went to Wichita and shopped around. Then we went to Lauryn's mom's birthday party, which was incredibly awkward. Afterwards, Jessy and I went shopping a little more, and I found Bryce an anniversary gift (woohoo, I didn't have to order something online this time). We ate at PF Chang's and Spangles. We just got back a little bit ago. The two of us and Stephanie might do something tonight, but after so much shopping we might just be too wiped. Oh, some lady stopped us at the mall and she made my fingernail all shiny. She kept trying to sell the kit thing and we're both like no we don't want it. Haha. I guess that's it for now. I added pictures of today to the Mac 09-10 album. I also added some new art ones a couple days ago if those haven't been seen yet.

I guess my Spanish test went okay, because I got a 100% on it. Tonight we watched So You Think You Can Dance and Glee. Then, Jessy, Sarah, and I went to Taco Bell. Nothing too thrilling, but I just wanted to update to say that I changed my art/photos thing around. I just put a direct link to photobucket, so it'll be easier for me to add photos and such. On the left-hand side, there should be a list of albums that you can click on and look at. Once you click on one, just click "back to bluesploosh" or something like that (on the left-hand side) to look at the other albums. That's basically it. I'm trying to come up with gift ideas because mom told me to, so that might be updated as well by the time you look at this.

Friday, Jessy, Stephanie, and I watched a movie. On Saturday, we woke up early and went for a bike ride. Then we walked around main street for a couple hours, took a lot of pictures. I got a library card. On Sunday, I mostly did homework, then Jessy, Dylan, and I went to Dairy Queen. Oh! On Saturday night, Stephanie and I fed the ducks. We also fed ducks last night, because Stephanie gets all the old bread from the cafeteria. It seems like a lot more stuff happened within these past few days, but I can't recall. Jessy and I are going to Newton tonight to see Cat play and eat out there. We haven't been to Druber's (the supposedly really awesome doughnut shop in Newton) yet, so we'll probably stop by there. As far as classes, my wine bottles are done, my test for minorities went well, I think, and we're going to start projects next class period in intermedia. Now I remember. Last week sometime at 7AM the fire alarm went off. Last night/this morning, it went off at 2:30AM. Hooray!

Tuesday night we rode our bikes to see The Time Traveler's Wife. I liked it a lot. I think it had comic relief at just the right moments. Yesterday, I had my first Espanol test. I think it went well, but I guess we'll see! I think I'm the only one who likes the class. It kind of bugs me how much people hate all of their classes. Graphic design majors should like their art classes, right? I can understand not liking some of the general education classes, but these people don't like any of their classes. In intermedia we've been watching all these crazy artists. One lady painted the floor with her hair. They're all nuts. Once we're done learning about artists, we start projects, which I'm excited about. After my classes and working out, Jessy and I watched Glee and found out Shelly had a concussion. So, last night I had to wake her up four times. After class today, Stephanie and I rode our bikes to the Cake Lady and got some cookies. I took a nap afterward and worked out. Jessy's on duty, so we'll probably watch a movie tonight and eat some of the salsa that was left over from a while ago (if it's still good).

As predicted, I went to the graphic design lab for quite a while last night. I made a few characters on Illustrator just for fun. I might put them on here sometime if desired by others. Today I just had classes and working out. Dad sent me Food of the Gods, so Jessy, Stephanie, and I watched that. By laughing so much from it, we ended up getting hyper and having a techno dance party in Jessy's room. We invited random people to come in and dance with us. Got back here and just got off the phone with Bryce. So, about to go to bed!

Yesterday, Jessy and I watched Happy Go Lucky. It was okay; not something I'd watch again. Then a bunch of us went to supposedly haunted places in Lindsborg. It was actually pretty uneventful. Today, I've just been doing homework, nothing too thrilling. After dinner I'll probably go to the design lab and see what I can cook up just for fun. I want to perfect some of my drawings/pieces on Illustrator so I can put them in my portfolio someday.

Wednesday I just had classes, working out, and I can't even remember that far back. Thursday I went to Ultimate and the boys are starting to learn they can pass to me, so I got another point. It all depends on which team you get on, because sometimes the boys hog it and it's not that fun. Today I had my first software development class, and I think it's going to be a blast. It sounds like we get to edit/film movies and unless Flash is used for something else, we can do more animation. Tonight, Jessy, Sarah (not my "twin"), and I went to get Chinese and then watched Rent. Jordan came in later and we talked about random stuff until recently.

Monday... classes, working out, watched Friday the 13th with Jessy and the Taylor sisters and ran around like dinosaurs again. Shelly and I complained about the soccer team for about an hour. Today, class, working out, soon to be a movie.
[September 6th, 2009 | 05:57pm]
On Friday, we had a convo where the faculty/staff made a video like The Office. It was hilarious. Topical Studies got canceled, so I still have yet to have that class. On Saturday, Jessy and I worked out, played basketball with Emily and Shireana, and went to the Humane Society to look at the cat we brought in a couple days ago. Jessy's going to get it if she's still there by next week. Then we went to Wal Mart with Lauryn and got stuff to make salsa. We made salsa and ramen at Lauryn's apartment, and we watched I Love You, Man. Lauryn ditched us for some dude to go to the movies, so Jessy and I went back to the dorms and some bad stuff went down... quite the long evening. So, Jessy, Stephanie, and I walked to the park and back. Today has been the day of relaxation. I did some homework and laundry, and we're about to go to Braum's.

Capture the Flag went well. The girls won one round about ten minutes in, which is much better than the three hours we used to play. The boys got a point back within the hour. It was strange. It usually takes forever to find the flag. This afternoon we worked out and then went to Ultimate. I scored a point, woo! After dinner, I put in Coraline and relaxed for the rest of the evening. I almost feel as sore as I was for athletes' week last year from all the activity. Ultimate takes a lot out of you.
[September 2nd, 2009 | 07:55pm]
Yesterday was a very long day, but in a good way. I had Graphic Design 2, where each of us put a crazy word and a location in a hat. Like, I put in "Jolly Sumo" and then "Pet Shop." Then each of us drew two of the pieces of paper, and now we have to make a logo for what we got. I got Hive and Hound Bakery. We'll see how I can handle this. At any rate, it should be fun. After we ate lunch, Jessy, Dylan, and I found a kitten in Dotzour with a collar on. We held it and played with it for about five hours, and after we found no owner, we decided to give it to Dee who gave it to the Humane Society. After that, Jessy and I worked out, and sat on the swing (whilst Eli fixed my bike) until playing softball with Mo's adult co-ed team. It was a very short game. We rode our bikes to the game, so we rode them to see The Ugly Truth, as well. It was okay. Then we rode our bikes back and I crashed almost immediately. Today I just went to classes so far. Jessy and I worked out after classes, and now I'm just waiting for 9:00 for Capture the Flag. I think Shelly and I are going to play video games now.
