We started our group project today. Not very happy with it so far. Mostly because I didn't care much for the idea to begin with, and there are twenty kids trying to do the work that three people could do on their own. So, most of the time is just standing around waiting for an opportunity to open up. Anyway, last night, Dylan, Turbo, and I went to Ace and built a potato gun. I named it Tot Rocket. We tried to shoot it off in an open field, but it didn't work and it was freezing. Also, a lady from New York has been talking to me about some educational episode she's doing about Things Fall Apart, because she saw my YouTube animation. She asked if she could use clips from it, and I said yes, though she isn't sure that they can use them or not. Regardless of whether anything really happens or not, it's kind of cool.

Today, I finished my metal piece and it actually looks pretty decent. Then I pretty much enjoyed relaxing for the rest of the day. Dylan, Isaac, Turbo, and I just got back from Applebee's. And, I'm probably going to crash early tonight.

I went home last weekend, so I got to see the family and Bryce and get away from Mac. We've just been finishing up projects in sculpture some more. Everything is due on Monday and then we have a group project to finish interterm. The only thing I don't have done is my metal piece, which I'm going to finish tomorrow. Still the same stuff, other than that. Tonight, Jessy and I watched Fears of the Dark or something. We did not realize it was in French. However, it was pretty interesting to me. It didn't make sense, but the animation was cool. I'm going to go to bed now.

I'm getting bad at updating this. Kelli left, so it recently got more boring for interterm. Sculpture is getting fun, though. We're getting to solder and braze and generally play with fire, which is fun. I'm still disappointed I couldn't keep my ceramic head, but I just recently popped my mask out of the mold. Once it's done it should be pretty cool (if all goes as planned, which usually isn't the case in the art world). Umm, yeah, just been going to class, working out, and watching movies at night, really. We also started carving stone, which is tedious and frustrating. We'll see how that goes. We basically got all our projects at once and are expected to finish them by the last week. Shouldn't be too bad.

I got back from winter break a while ago. We did the normal stuff, hang around the house, movies, Christmas. I got all A's last semester, so I guess my finals went okay. Interterm started Monday, and it's okay. It's pretty exhausting working on one piece for five hours a day, but it's more enjoyable than sitting through a lecture three hours a day. Kelli came up Tuesday morning, so I've been hanging out with her. We played with my Batmobile and did a lot of weird stuff with it. We made some videos, so I'm sure you'll see it someday. Umm. We made a ceramic head which turned out better than I thought it would, but then I had to break it to make a mold for a mask for our next project and I'm very upset. I guess that's it for now!
