Looks like I've done a lot since I updated. I went home one weekend, and we watched a lot of movies and stuff. Class periods continually get shorter, except for today. On Tuesday we saw Bride Wars because practice got switched to 3:30. It was better than I thought it would be. Soccer was lame because Haley and Alyssa came back. Jess will be back after interterm. Apparently Haley and Alyssa aren't allowed to play soccer anymore since they're in a spring sport though, so hooray! This weekend we went to Lauryn's house and I was sick the whole time. On Friday we just kind of hung around and did nothing. It was pretty boring. Once Jonelle came, her and Lauryn kept talking about stuff that we had no input on, so for probably an hour or two, the rest of us were silent. Then we put in House Bunny, so that was a little better. On Saturday we went to the mall. It was fun for the first hour, but we stayed there for a little over three hours. Kelli and I both contemplated getting our ears pierced because Lauryn was taking so long shopping. Kelli got a massage instead. I saved my money. That night we went to "The Alley" where we bowled (I beat everyone with a 129, just so everyone knows), rode go-carts, and played in the arcade. That was pretty fun. Then we watched Urban Legends which was interesting. On Sunday I woke up at 8:30 and waited till 10 when Lauryn's mom woke everyone else up. She made us pancakes. Lots of TV watching until we went to lunch at PF Chang's. Then we went back. Today we did our debate. I don't think I did too great. It's hard debating on a side that you aren't really on, but oh well. At least it's out of the way. Once I'm done writing my position paper I'm all done with the class.

Friday, Jessy, Rachel (This really quiet girl that Jessy likes... you know she's quiet if I say she's quiet. She's probably straight.), and I RedBoxed The Secret and Timber Falls. They were both extremely nuts. The concept was good on The Secret, but it was a little weird. Timber Falls was just completely strange. We watched the movie in the Bitt lobby, so we hung out with Shelly and Carol afterwards. Just talked about life, really. Saturday, there was a kick around so I went to that. Then Kelli, Jessy, and I went to Wal Mart. Did I do much else on Saturday? I can't remember. I started Dewey, which is kind of cute so far. Sunday we went to IHOP for dinner in Hutch, so that was delicious. There was another kick around at 8. Oh yeah, we went to see The Stinky Cheese Man, too. It was pretty funny. There were a lot of little kids there, and their laughter made it more funny. Today, class and futsal. All Ashley does is stand in front of the goal so our team can't score, it's very very irritating. Amanda kind of does the same thing. Ugh.

There was a self defense class yesterday, so Lauryn, Jessy, her friend Stephanie, and I went to that. Of course, like the one mom and I went to, he started by telling us stories that would freak us out. Then he taught us about mace, stun guns, and these awesome things called kubotans, which are pretty much plastic sticks. We watched a couple videos and then we learned how to throw people and stuff. We sprayed each other with fake mace, too. We had futsal after that, and that was ok. Today hasn't been too special so far. We have weights at 8:30 tonight. Everyone's arms are really sore from Tuesday.

Weights and conditioning were tiring. I don't think they should be allowed to be on the same day. I feel like jello, only less delicious. At least he's finally pushing us... sort of. Not quite as much as Doug still, but it's better than during season. I just wanted to jump on here and add that I found two dollars in my evolution textbook. They were just hiding in the pages. Kinda weird, but awesome. Anyway, I think it's time for bed.

Well, I'm back from break, which was great. Got to spend time with the family and Bryce, and I got to play a little indoor soccer and some wii. Now it's interterm, and I'm enrolled in evolution. I think the topic is interesting, but a three and a half hour class will make it boring, or at least it has so far. We have to read three chapters every night and take notes, so I may not get as much pleasure reading done as I originally thought. We had futsal last night, and hooray, Jess is still playing. Luckily she, along with Alyssa and Haley, will be going to Italy soon, so I'll at least be rid of them for a month. Today during class, Dr. Frye hit Bry on the back of the head. It was kind of a Lion King lesson, like when Rafiki hits Simba with his stick. He was asking us how we knew things, and we knew because we experienced them, because just like Simba, Bry ducked the next time he went for her. We have to lift weights from 8:30-9:30 tonight and then have conditioning for thirty minutes after that. No more two dollar Tuesdays for me. Soccer pretty much ruins my life now that everything's so late.
