Coach Jackie Sherrill and Peggy Sherrill are the proud grandparents of Daniel Alexander Morse. Daniel, who was Coach Sherrill's first grandchild, was born on Monday January 7th. He weighs 7 pounds, 15 ounces and is 21 inches long. His parents are Owen and Kellie Morse. The Morse's reside in Memphis, Tennessee.

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State stormed out to a 15-0 start over visiting Mississippi on its way to an 82-57 victory over their in-state rivals in front of 3,023 at Humphrey Coliseum. The largest crowd since Tennessee visited "The Hump" during the 2000 campaign, it was the second largest crowd in school history. FULL STORY

Plainview has an enrollment of about 1,800 and is a 4A classification school, the second largest classification in Texas.
