Course Objectives
- Assess and evaluate personal/professional goals, values and ethics related to the major
- Differentiate between personality styles of co-workers and incoporate that knowledge into a variety of group activities
- Scrutinize issues in the field of emphasis and distinguish between critical and non-critical issues through the lenses of historical, social, political and economic realities
- Discuss the concept of public policy and describe a process of advocacy
- Conduct background research necessary for dvelopment of a public policy statement related to a critical issue
- Develop a resource development strategy
