Course Objectives

To identify and explain influences of social change on the delivery of services to families
To identify the stages of life and explain how the concept of life stages can be a toll for helping people
To list and explain the characteristics of human service organizations
To list and explain factors that motivate people to change
To explain the structure of the helping process
To demonstrate an awareness of the dynamics of group process and the use of teams as a medium for the delivery of human services
