Course Objectives

• To achieve an understanding of the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of individuals across the life span
• To increase awareness of the interrelatedness of the individual and the near environments, particularly the family system
• To explore the diversity of human development and family interaction through the consideration of cultural and non-normative influences.
