FRCD 2100: Pre-Professional Lab Experience
FRCD 2100 was a course that gave the basis for what the students in FRCD would be studying throughout our academic careers. The course also gave us a little experience in working in a community service organization.
Course Objectives
- Working knowledge of various professional roles available in the field of family services
- Clear understanding of many of the ethical issues involved in contemporary practice as a human services professional
- Great clarity in understanding the importance of accurate and confidential records in the delivery of human services and a technical knoweldge of record keeping processes.
- Reflect upon and evaluate their professional goals and the relative impact of student's service learning upon those goals as they have evolved to this point.
