 Nature present’s herself in many shapes and colors.  With Mary Ann Allen’s art you experience the wonderful world around you.  Mary Ann paints from inspiration within.  Her outgoing personality triggers scenes upon canvas that will lead you to a world of fun and excitement, a great place to go when in the world’s troubled times our spirit needs a guide to enliven the peace and joy within ourselves.

She has displayed art various places: Quartz Mt. State Park, Elk City Great Plains Gallery, Duncan Friends Gallery, Great Plains Gallery, Lawton, OK, Damonlphotographics Gallery, Cordell, OK, Great Plains Museum, Vernon TX, Leslie Powell, Lawton, OK, Pride Gallery, Lawton, OK, Colonial, 50 Penn Place, The Purple Loft, Oklahoma City, Wichita Wildlife Refuge and the Kemp Center for Arts, Wichita Falls, TX.

She has participated in a number of art festivals and showings, winning awards and ribbons.  Seeing people enjoy her work is her delight.  For several years Mary Ann has supervised the Hobart Arts on the Square and continues to encourage the love of art.  Lawton Art Council, Duncan Art Guild, Elk City Art Guild and Oklahoma Art guild are organizations of which she is a member.

Mary Ann Allen has painted with and enjoyed instruction and learning from many noted painters, in the studion and in plein air.  Then continues each day on a personal expedition for a high excitement with the beauty and interest of her surroundings. Allen attended art school at Western Oklahoma State College, Altus Oklahoma and Burns Flat Vo-tech, Burns Flat, OK.
