"Sixty years ago when SOCIAL SECURITY was passed, some in the Congress,
such as Democrat SENATOR CLARK, openly argued against the Socialist agenda - and
called it what it was. In 1965, the 'GREAT SOCIETY' and 'WAR ON POVERTY' programs of
Lyndon Johnson, which included MANY MORE planks of the Socialist Party, were not as
vigorously debated, because by then, the Socialists were, as they point out, 'working in
the DEMOCRATIC PARTY'..." [214]

"By the mid 1960's [Henry] KISSINGER had proved his worth to the ROUND TABLE
and the RIIA, and thus to the British monarchy. As a reward and a test of what he had
learned, Kissinger was placed in charge of a small group consisting of JAMES
SCHLESSINGER, ALEXANDER HAIG and DANIEL ELLSBERG. The Round Table was using
[them] to conduct a series of experiments. Cooperating with this group was the Institute
of Policy Studies chief theoretician, NOAM CHOMSKY..." [215]

In 1965, "the federal 'ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION ACT' (ESEA)
was passed by Congress. TITLE III of the Act dealt with innovative projects, many of
which would be set up by JOHN GOODLAD [What a misnomer!]. One of these,
'PACESETTERS IN INNOVATION' for 'SENSITIZING' teachers was implemented in
Connecticut, and Goodlad said, 'Forces which block the adoption of new ideas will be
identified and ways to overcome them will be explored.' This was PROJECT 002-230.
Other projects were 001-783 (LABORATORY [?] Human Relations, sensitivity training, and
the role of teachers as inhouse change agents), 002-172 (SEX education in ALL
ACADEMIC SUBJECTS [?!]), 002-060 (vehicle for change - to facilitate the 15-year leap
into the age of cybernation), 001-996 (teachers from model schools serve as change
agents), and 002-010 (change agents - emphasis placed on effecting change in teacher
behavior-attitude]." [216] Good grief! Didn't ANY of the "conservative" members of
Congress take time to actually READ this bill??! Somebody show me where those self-
absorbed, unprincipled, overpaid frauds are hiding today: I want a crack at them!!!

"A study conducted by BIONETICS LABORATORIES of Bethesda, MD...concluded
that even in the lowest dose given, 2,4,5-T caused CLEFT PALATES, MISSING and
DEFORMED EYES, CYSTIC KIDNEYS, and ENLARGED LIVERS in the offspring of
laboratory animals. The study was also important because...'the rat, as a test animal,
tends to be relatively RESISTANT to tetratogenic effects of chemicals' [217] Although the
study was conducted in 1965, its findings were not released until a member of NADER'S
RAIDERS discovered a preliminary report submitted to the FOOD AND DRUG
ADMINISTRATION by Bionetics Laboratories. The report's conclusions were passed on to
MATTHEW MESELSON, ARTHUR GALSTON, and other scientists, who then demanded to
know more about the study, including WHY the Bionetics Laboratories did not release its
findings SOONER.

"The manufacturers of 2,4,5-T had failed to test its teratongenic properties
because Neither the Department of Agriculture nor the Food and Drug Administration
REQUIRED such tests...if DOW CHEMICAL knew in 1965 that 2,4,5-T was contaminated
with DIOXIN, and the U.S. knew in 1962 that DIOXIN IS TOXIC, then why were extensive
scientific studies not conducted on the possible mutagenic, carcinogenic, and
teratongenic effects of Agent Orange BEFORE it was used in Vietnam?" [218] [?!] ...In a
1964 press release, DOW asserted that its 2,4,5-T was absolutely NON-TOXIC to humans
or animals, but by 1965 the company CONFIRMED that it contained TCDD. Dow also
admitted that it had not informed the USDA or the DOD that it had DISCOVERED 2,4,5-T to
be contaminated with TCDD." [219]

"In 1965, the CIA and Department of Defense began Project MKSEARCH, a
program to develop a capability to MANIPULATE HUMAN BEHAVIOR through the use of
MIND-ALTERING DRUGS, and prisoners at the HOLMSBURG STATE PRISON in
Philadelphia were subjected to DIOXIN, the highly toxic chemical component of AGENT

ORANGE used in Viet Nam. The men were later studied for development of CANCER,
which indicated that Agent Orange had been a suspected carcinogen all along." [220]

"...in 1964 and 1965, the Director of the Federal Radiation Council, DR. PAUL C.
TOMPKINS...announced a TWENTY-FOLD RISE in the permissible amounts of the MOST
HAZARDOUS isotopes in MILK in the event of an accidental release. For the FIRST TIME
in the history of radiation standards the permissible doses to the public were raised
rather than lowered, despite the mounting evidence that there was NO SAFE
THRESHOLD DOSE of radiation as presented in August 1963 before the Joint Committee.
And this was done QUIETLY by PRESIDENTIAL EXECUTIVE ORDER, for which NO PUBLIC
HEARING IS REQUIRED." [221]

"...in 1965, I was privileged to be escorted with a small group through NORAD,
the great hole in a Colorado mountain, where our government headquartered its
systems - designed to track any object that might attack our nation from the skies. It was
awesome to view what American scientific genius had developed and to know that our
U.S. Armed Services had such precise technology to track and WARN of any unfriendly
action from the bad guys of the world. After the tour was completed, the officer in
charge took us into a small room and carefully closed the door for privacy. I'll never
forget his words:

'If NORAD receives information that the SOVIETS have launched a NUCLEAR
MISSILE at the United States, do you know what we have to SHOOT IT DOWN with? NOT
A COTTON-PICKIN' THING.' I was shocked...34 years later in 1999...AMERICA STILL HAS
NO DEFENSE AGAINST ENEMY MISSILES. Despite the TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS we have
spent on the military, despite all the offensive weapons we have built to kill CIVILIANS
on enemy soil, we still have NO WAY to shoot down incoming enemy missiles and SAVE
AMERICAN LIVES." [222]

"The new book 'Citizen Jane' has JANE FONDA visiting MOSCOW in 1965 and
denouncing AMERICAN 'PROPAGANDA' about the USSR; she said the trip opened her
eyes about the USSR." [223]

"...SYRIA used the GOLAN HEIGHTS, which tower 3,000 feet above the Galilee, to
shell Israeli farms and villages. Syria's attacks grew more frequent in 1965 and 1966,
while [Gamal] NASSER's rhetoric became increasingly bellicose: 'We shall not enter
Palestine with its soil covered in sand,' he said on MARCH 8, 1965. 'We shall enter it with
its soil SATURATED IN BLOOD.' [224] Again, a few months later, Nasser expressed the
Arabs' aspiration: '...the full restoration of the rights of the Palestinian people. In other
words, we aim at the DESTRUCTION of the State of Israel. The immediate aim:
perfection of Arab military might. The national aim: the ERADICATION OF ISRAEL'." [225]

On JUNE 7, 1965, the US Supreme Court issued their decision on 'GRISWOLD v.
CONNECTICUT:' "Griswold is a curious but important case in American constitutional
history. It concerned an 'uncommonly silly law' (as Justice Potter Stewart called it) that
was technically difficult to challenge on Constitutional grounds...A CONNECTICUT
STATUTE of 1879 made it a CRIME for any person to use any drug, article, or instrument
to PREVENT CONCEPTION...Suit was initiated by two members of the PLANNED
PARENTHOOD LEAGUE OF CONNECTICUT. [What a surprise!] Its executive director and
medical director had been convicted of violating the statute by giving INFORMATION,
INSTRUCTION, and MEDICAL ADVICE to married persons regarding means of preventing
conception. The conviction was AFFIRMED by the SUPREME COURT OF ERRORS OF
CONNECTICUT. On appeal, the UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT REVERSED by a 7-2
margin...[finding that] the statute was INVALID because it infringed on the
Constitutionally-protected RIGHT TO 'PRIVACY' of MARRIED persons... [What would they
have said if the case involved two UNMARRIED persons, I wonder?]

"The majority holding in 'Griswold'...protected basic constitutional rights and
applied them against the states in conventional fashion under the 14TH AMENDMENT,
and...mandated a STRICTER scrutiny for laws that interfere with 'FUNDAMENTAL
PERSONAL RIGHTS' than for those that regulate ECONOMIC relations. The Court's more
controversial step of applying this logic to fundamental rights - here, of privacy - NOT
EXPRESSLY ENUMERATED IN THE 'BILL OF RIGHTS' likewise was hardly unprecedented.

"The Court previously had affirmed the UNWRITTEN RIGHTS to TEACH one's child
a foreign language (Meyer v. Nebraska, 1923), to send one's children to PRIVATE schools
(Pierce v. Society of Sisters, 1925), to PROCREATE (Skinner v. Oklahoma, 1942), to
RESIST certain invasions of the body (Rochin v. California, 1952), and to TRAVEL abroad
(Aptheker v. Secretary of State, 1964) [NONE of which should EVER have been brought
before ANY court!]. What made 'Griswold' a LANDMARK case was the Court's willingness
to explicitly justify at length this practice of investing such unenumerated rights with
FULL CONSTITUTIONAL status...
"...WHY, critics asked, is it LESS DANGEROUS for Supreme Court justices to
IMPOSE THEIR PERSONAL PREFERENCES on LEGISLATORS and SOCIETY in matters of
PERSONAL RIGHTS than in matters of ECONOMIC relations?...are judges any more
QUALIFIED to determine one form of rights than another? And is the legitimacy of a
'government of laws' no less underminded by UNRESTRAINED, ARBITRARY judicial
policy-making in ONE sphere than in another?...Other supporters of the majority...argue
that LEGAL INTERPRETATION is always DISCRETIONARY, and that TEXTUAL
CONSTRAINTS on judges are far LESS important than cultural and POLITICAL
forces...Such arguments were sufficiently compelling that all nine justices...by 1973 had
accepted the Court's role in giving the FOURTEENTH AMENDMENT's Due Process Clause
a substantive content that EXCEEDS the BILL OF RIGHTS..." [!] [226]

"One of the landmark cases that CHANGED the MEANING of the Constitution and
initiated the SUBVERSION OF FEDERALISM was a 1925 case known as 'GITLOW v. NEW
YORK.' BENJAMIN GITLOW was a COMMUNIST PARTY member who was convicted of
violating New York's CRIMINAL ANARCHY LAW that made it a CRIMINAL OFFENSE to
ADVOCATE the VIOLENT OVERTHROW OF THE GOVERNMENT. Appealing to the
Supreme Court, Gitlow and his lawyer argued that the New York law VIOLATED the
FIRST AMENDMENT's guarantee of freedom of expression and that this First Amendment
guarantee was 'INCORPORATED' by the 14TH AMENDMENT's due process clause. The
Court, while upholding Gitlow's conviction and the New York law, ACCEPTED this
argument, ruling that 'freedom of speech and of the press...are among the fundamental
rights and 'liberties' protected by the due process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.'

"It is from the Gitlow case that the INCORPORATION DOCTRINE descends, and
through it the concept that the BILL OF RIGHTS constitutes a RESTRAINT not only on the
FEDERAL government, but also on the STATES themselves. The argument for the
Indoctrination Doctrine relies on the 14th Amendment...and it claims that the language
of that amendment ALTERS THE MEANING OF THE BILL OF RIGHTS, as it had been
understood previously by the Framers and [First Chief Justice] JOHN MARSHALL. Section
1 of the 14th Amendment contains the language on which this doctrine is based:

'No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or
immunities of citizens of the United States, nor shall any State deprive any person of life,
liberty, or property, WITHOUT DUE PROCESS of law; nor deny to any person within its
jurisdiction the EQUAL PROTECTION of the laws.'

"The argument is that, as JUSTICE HUGO BLACK expressed it in the 1947 case of
'ADAMSON v. CALIFORNIA'...the 14th Amendment 'incorporates' the Bill of Rights into the
Constitution and applies it to the states...although the Supreme Court as a whole has
never endorsed Black's 'TOTAL incorporation' doctrine, it has, in fact, as the 'Oxford
Companion to the Supreme Court of the United States' expresses it, 'incorporated nearly
all the individual components of the Bill of Rights under a doctrine called 'SELECTIVE
INCORPORATION'.' (Of course, the rights selectively incorporated are those that
correspond to LIBERAL prejudices. For example, the court-created 'RIGHT' TO
ABORTION IS incorporated; the CONSTITUTIONALLY-PROTECTED RIGHT TO KEEP AND
BEAR ARMS is NOT.)..." [227]

"On OCTOBER 15 1965 - yet another major fire at ROCKY FLATS contaminated 25
WORKERS with up to 17 TIMES the MAXIMUM permissible dose." [228]

"In 1966, a Chicago 'gang truce' was negotiated between the BLACKSTONE
RANGERS and the EASTSIDE DISCIPLES. The 'peacemakers' were rewarded with a
$972,000 FEDERAL GRANT for 'JOB TRAINING' programs. Not surprisingly, MOST of the
federal money ended up in the hands of GANG LEADERS, helping the Rangers evolve
into an even MORE RUTHLESS syndicate called EL RUKN. During the FRENCH
REVOLUTION, the murderous SANS-CULOTTE mobs were organized and controlled by
conspiring elites; the MOB VIOLENCE prompted the manipulable masses into SEEKING
AUTHORITARIAN CONTROLS from the revolutionary government. HITLER used the
BROWNSHIRTS in much the same fashion. One PREFERRED TACTIC of COMMUNIST
governments was to place CRIMINALS in LAW ENFORCEMENT positions. The names of
the players may change, but the conspiratorial playbook remains the same." [229]

This is PRECISELY the method that Klinton used to prepare the citizens for
SLAVERY under the UN flag. All these "DISASTEROUS INCIDENTS" [i.e., Oklahoma City
bombing, Littleton Colorado shootings, ad nauseum] SINCE KLINTON TOOK OFFICE
[check your history - these kind of things didn't happen BEFORE his regime - just like all
the atrocities in Germany didn't happen until HITLER took office!] are CREATED to
persuade the public that they NEED Klinton and the federal government to "PROTECT"
them. Don't believe it? Why ELSE would the BOMB SQUAD be at the Murrah Building an
HOUR before the "truck bomb" arrived? And Why would FEMA and TWO NATO
GENERALS be at Columbine High School - along with CNN, almost simultaneously
BEFORE the shooting began? The United States "government" has been preparing for
war AGAINST the public for decades. Executive Orders signed by American presidents
over the last 50 years PROVE it [See Joshua Report #2]. They were based on the
following manual:

" 'THINGS ACQUIRED IN WAR BELONG OR GO TO THE STATE'...is a fundamental
maxim of public law. There are some people who claim the present day FORFEITURE
LAWS have grown out of that maxim, and that...government...has the LEGAL RIGHT...to
take the property of the American people as a consequence of the DECLARED WAR
against them... [This goes back to the LIEBER CODE - See JR #23 Start after Footnote #70
through #72]

"The 'JOINT MANUAL FOR CIVIL AFFAIRS..FM41-5, OPNAV 09B2P1, AFM 110-7,
NAVMC 2500,' printed in 1966, may be a BLUEPRINT for just such an operation. The
manual outlines the principles and general policies to be followed by...the
DEPARTMENTS of the ARMY, NAVY, and AIR FORCE in planning and conducting CIVIL
AFFAIRS operations. The basic principles presented are generally...pertinent to
operations in nuclear or conventional warfare, or general or limited war. Below are
some excerpts from the Manual...

"...Included...may be COMPLETE ASSUMPTION of EXECUTIVE, LEGISLATIVE,
JUDICIAL, and ADMINISTRATIVE functions of an OCCUPIED ENEMY TERRITORY [And
America IS "occupied," folks. Make no mistake about it!] during or immediately
subsequent to hostilities...Civil affairs operations may be conducted by or in support of
combatant forces in areas and under the circumstances indicated below [I am only
listing the ones which pertain to civil war in OUR country, i.e., MARTIAL LAW]:

*Wartime activities IN the United States;
*Occupation of ENEMY territory;

b. "In EMERGENCY SITUATIONS it is possible that initial operations may be
conducted WITHOUT BENEFIT OF A FORMAL AGREEMENT...When time and knowledge
of areas permit, theater or other appropriate COMMANDERS [i.e., GOVERNORS;
SHERIFFS; POSTMASTERS; etc.] should...draft civil affairs agreements to serve as a
basis for discussion and to set out operational requirements of the military command
[and then collect their blood money!]. Guidance in the preparation of these draft
agreements will be provided by the DIRECTOR OF CIVIL AFFAIRS, OFFICE OF THE
DEPUTY CHIEF-OF-STAFF FOR MILITARY OPERATIONS, Headquarters, Department of the
Army, or, when established, by the JOINT CIVIL AFFAIRS ORGANIZATION [i.e., FEMA]
within the JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF.

CIVIL AFFAIRS AGREEMENTS may include any of the following:

*Channels of OFFICIAL LIAISON between United States FORCES and echelons of

"IN THE UNITED STATES, NO DECLARATION OF MARTIAL LAW IS NECESSARY.
[However] it is customary for the President, a governor, or a military commander to
publish a proclamation to inform the people. [Title 12 U.S.C. Section 95 (a) and (b)]

"GANG WARS...carefully PLANNED at STANFORD, [were] deliberately DESIGNED
to SHOCK society and cause ripples of disturbances. By 1958 there were in excess of 200
of these gangs...After making the news for a decade, suddenly, in 1966, they
DISAPPEARED off the streets of New York, Los Angeles, New Jersey, Philadelphia and
Chicago. Throughout the near decade of gang violence, the public reacted according to
the PROFILED RESPONSE...TAVISTOCK was ready in 1966 to launch a major
IRREVERSIBLE cultural revolution in America...our nation was now deemed RIPE for the
INTRODUCTION OF DRUGS...The proliferation of drug usage was one of the subjects
under study at the SCIENCE POLICY RESEARCH UNIT (SPRU) at Tavistock's Sussex
University facility. It was known as the 'FUTURE SHOCKS' center...future-oriented
psychology designed to MANIPULATE WHOLE POPULATION GROUPS...After continuous
shocks, the large targeted population group discovers that it does not WANT to make
choices any more. APATHY takes over, OFTEN PRECEDED BY MINDLESS VIOLENCE [I.E.,
Oklahoma City; Paduka, KY; Littleton, CO?] such as is characteristic of the Los Angeles
STREET GANGS, SERIAL KILLERS, RAPISTS and CHILD KIDNAPERS. Such a group
becomes EASY TO CONTROL and will docilely FOLLOW ORDERS without
rebelling...such a targeted group is ready to 'trip out' and TAKE TO DRUGS as a means of
escape from the pressures of so many choices having to be made...Drug usage...[grew]
into a FLOOD-TIDE...which is swamping America.

"...the Committee of 300 used 'THE BEATLES' to popularize 'social drugs' with the
youth of America and The Hollywood 'in-crowd.' ED SULLIVAN was sent to England To
become acquainted with the first Tavistock Institute 'rock group' to hit the shores of the
United States. Sullivan then returned to the United States to draft the strategy for the
ELECTRONIC MEDIA on how to package and sell the group....our national life and THE
CHARACTER OF THE UNITED STATES WAS FOREVER CHANGED...The prime function of
The Beatles was to be discovered by teenagers...and 'with a little help from their
friends,' [i.e., drugs] create a...new class of young Americans in the precise mold
ORDAINED by the Tavistock Institute...The 'teenagers' never once dreamed that all the
'different' things they aspired to were the product of OLDER SCIENTISTS working in
THINK TANKS in England and Stanford Research...Drug usage now became an
ACCEPTED part of everyday life in America...the older generation began to believe that
America was undergoing a NATURAL SOCIAL REVOLUTION...[Drug "Pushers"] became
adept in the use of LYSERGIC ACID (LSD)...The new 'wonder drug' was promptly
distributed at all ROCK CONCERTS and on COLLEGE CAMPUSES in FREE SAMPLE
PACKAGES...The entire dope business was expanded under the control and direction of
the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU)...SPRU's policy papers, planted in various
government agencies, including the DRUG ENFORCEMENT AGENCY (DEA), dictated the
course of the disastrous 'DRUG WAR' allegedly waged by the Reagan and Bush
Administrations...

"Through 'CRISIS ADAPTATION' we have...changed so much as to barely
compare with what we were in the 1950s...our LIFE STYLE has become polluted; our
THINKING has become polluted. Our ability to CONTROL our destiny has become
polluted...The 'ENVIRONMENT OF CHANGE' is crippling the nation; we appear to have so
little control that...We now look to GROUP SOLUTIONS [i.e., "Lobbies;" "Class Actions;"
"Group Therapy," etc.] instead of INDIVIDUAL solutions to our problems...The strategy
is...aimed at...our SELF-IMAGE...which leads us eventually to become like SHEEP BEING
LED TO THE SLAUGHTER...we are now in the transition stage where we can be set up
for a CHANGE from the present CONSTITUTIONAL form of government...While there are
those who still persist, in the face of all of the evidence to the contrary in saying, 'It can't
happen in America,' the fact is: IT HAS ALREADY HAPPENED..." [231]

He's not just whistling Dixie! Check THIS out: "THE AMERICAN JOURNAL OF
CLINICAL HYPNOSIS" [Issue #8] contained an article by Stanley Krippner entitled, 'The
Use of Hypnosis WITH ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL CHILDREN in a Summer
Reading Clinic.' Later, Krippner will become president of the ASSOCIATION OF
HUMANISTIC PSYCHOLOGY." Tell me: Why do they need HYPNOSIS in a READING
clinic? Is YOUR child being hypnotized? Or how about this [Age TWO??]: Dr. C. Taylor
Whittier received $450,000 from HEW and organized the CENTRAL ATLANTIC REGIONAL
EDUCATION LABORATORY (CAREL), which has among its objectives: 'Development and
validation of a method for diagnosing the educational needs of children FROM AGE TWO
TO NINE, using a computer storage and retrieval system to process salient information
on each child." [232] Laboratory?? Are our children LAB RATS now?

"In 1966, the CIA initiated 'PROJECT MKOFTEN,' a program to test the
TOXICOLOGICAL effects of certain drugs on humans and animals and the U.S. Army
dispensed BACILLUS SUBTILIS VARIANT NIGER throughout the New York City subway
system. More than a million civilians were exposed when army scientists dropped
LIGHTBULBS filled with the bacteria onto VENTILATION GRATES." [233]

"When in 1966 the gaseous discharges from the DRESDEN plant had climbed to
736,000 curies, or more than 20 TIMES what they had been in 1961 and more than 20
MILLION TIMES more than SHIPPINGPORT had released the same year, a decision was
made to start replacing the corroding stainless-steel-jacketed fuel rods with more
resistant, but also more expensive, zircalloy-clad fuel. By this time, the liquid releases,
containing iodine, strontium, cesium, and other HIGHLY TOXIC elements, had risen to 43
TIMES their INITIAL value...Enormous quantities of these isotopes went into the ILLINOIS
RIVER, flowing past PEORIA, where the river water began to be used for DRINKING, and
on to the GULF OF MEXICO, concentrating THOUSANDS OF TIMES HIGHER in the FISH
and in the BIRDS that fed on them." [234]

"While on a sabbatical to OSLO, NORWAY in 1966, FATHER RICHARD MC
SORLEY saw a familiar face getting off the train with him. Back home in Georgetown,
Father McSorley had made the acquaintance of a young student named CLINTON. Now
he ran into him again in Oslo's train station. Clinton had been riding on the same train
as McSorley and after finding out that McSorley was going to visit the INSTITUTE FOR
PEACE RESEARCH at Oslo University, Clinton asked if he could come along. McSorley
was 'delighted.' They were shown around the Institute, 'housed in a lovely old
reconditioned mansion of Victorian design,' by the Assistant Director. After leaving the
institute, Clinton and McSorley visited the university itself, and had lunch with a
professor. Finally, they visited a PEACE CENTER, founded by two ACTORS. During the
course of their visits, they talked with CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTORS, PEACE GROUPS
and university students. At the end of the day, as he was preparing to leave, Clinton
commented 'This is a GREAT WAY to see a country!' " [235] Yeah. Especially, when it's
for FREE!

"On JANUARY 17, 1966, a B-52 collided with an AIR FORCE KC-135 JET TANKER
while refueling over the coast of Spain - killing EIGHT of the eleven crew members and
igniting the KC-135's 40,000 gallons of jet fuel. TWO HYDROGEN BOMBS RUPTURED,
scattering radioactive particles over the fields of PALOMARES; a THIRD landed intact
near the VILLAGE of Palomares; the FOURTH was LOST AT SEA 12 miles off the coast of
Palomares and required a search by thousands of men working for three months to
recover it. Approximately 1,500 TONS of radioactive soil and tomato plants were
removed to the U.S. for BURIAL at a nuclear waste dump in AIKEN, S.C. The U.S.
eventually settled claims by 522 Palomares residents at a cost of $600,000, and gave the
town the gift of a $200,000 desalinizing plant." [236] In all, the U.S. military ADMITS to 27
accidents involving nuclear weapons - which it terms 'BROKEN ARROWS.' Independent
critics charge the figure is MORE LIKE 125." [237]

"Wall Street was SHAKEN yesterday by news of an apparent PEACE feeler from
NORTH VIETNAM, but swiftly recovered its composure after about an hour of sometimes
indiscriminate selling." [238] Savings banks solicit deposits with...caution slogans, e.g.,
'If PEACE breaks out, will you be READY for it?' " [239]

"The Red Chinese leadership [also] offered...recognition of the continuing SINO-
SOVIET ALLIANCE. One significant acknowledgment was embedded in a MARCH 1966
statement in which the Chinese government rejected an invitation from Moscow to
attend a Soviet Communist Party convention. After offering TOKEN criticism of the
ideological transgressions of the Soviet Communists, the Red Chinese government
dispelled any notion that it regarded the Soviets as genuine antagonists:

'[T]he great peoples of CHINA and the SOVIET UNION will eventually sweep away
all obstacles and unite on the basis of MARXISM-LENINISM and proletarian
INTERNATIONALISM...The Soviet people may rest assured that once the Soviet Union
meets with imperialist aggression and puts up resolute resistance, China will definitely
stand SIDE-BY-SIDE with the Soviet Union and fight against the COMMON ENEMY'." [240]

"The Special Study Group from IRON MOUNTAIN met late in MARCH, 1966 to
debate 'the issue of DISCLOSING [The Report] to the general public...Those who argued
the case for keeping the Report secret were admittedly motivated by fear of the
EXPLOSIVE POLITICAL EFFECTS that could be expected from publicity. ["JOHN DOE"]
felt that...there was such a thing as a public RIGHT TO KNOW what was being done on
its behalf [SURE it was!]; the burden of proof was on those who would ABRIDGE it." [241]

"In MARCH, C.L. SULBERGER of the ''NEW YORK TIMES' revealed that former
Secretary of State JOHN FOSTER DULLES 'fathered SEATO with the deliberate purpose,
as he explained to me, of providing the US President with LEGAL AUTHORITY TO
INTERVENE IN INDOCHINA [VIETNAM]'." [242]

"The 'WORLD WAR INDUSTRY,' as one writer [243] has aptly called it, accounts
for approximately a TENTH of the output of the world's total economy...The UNITED
STATES, as the world's richest nation, not only accounts for the LARGEST SINGLE
SHARE of this expense, currently upward of $60 BILLION a year, but also '...has devoted
a higher PROPORTION of its gross national product to its military establishment than any
other major free world nation. This was true even before our increased expenditures in
Southeast Asia...

"...It seems to me that we could move toward remedying that INEQUITY [of the
Selective Service System] by asking EVERY YOUNG PERSON IN THE UNITED STATES to
give 2 YEARS OF SERVICE TO HIS COUNTRY - whether in one of the military services, in
the Peace Corps, or in some other volunteer developmental work at home or abroad.
We could encourage other countries to do the same." [244]

"On JULY 27, 1966, an Associated Press dispatch datelined MOSCOW reported: 'U
THANT has been assured the SUPPORT of the SOVIET UNION for another term as
Secretary-General of the United Nations...The sources said PREMIER ALEXEI N. KOSYGIN
told Thant during a long talk yesterday that the Soviet government WANTS him to accept
re-election when his current 5-year term expires November 3...' [245] The Soviets were
pleased with Thant because his MARXISM and ANTI-AMERICANISM dominated his
decade of service. Thant was a protege of U NU, the BURMESE Prime Minister
who...asserted during a speech: 'If we now look back to history, we find that STALIN
FOLLOWED THE RIGHT PATH.' During that same speech, U Nu advocated
STRENGTHENING ties with the Soviet Union, CONFISCATING all CAPITALIST enterprises
in Burma, ABOLISHING PRIVATE OWNERSHIP OF LAND, and forming a league to
PROPAGATE MARXIST DOCTRINE...When U Nu became Prime Minister, U Thant was
named his AIDE...From 1952 on, U Thant traveled the world with U Nu, served in the
Burma delegation at the UNITED NATIONS and became head of the delegation in 1957.

"In 1966, Thant confided to correspondents that he had written ANONYMOUS
EDITORIALS for a Burmese newspaper for a DECADE prior to his 1957 appointment as
United Nations delegate. Such CLANDESTINE PRESS MANIPULATION by a KEY
GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL was a revealing insight into Thant's philosophy about PRESS
FREEDOM and the PROPER ROLE of government." [246]

"On OCTOBER 7, 1966 - with the war now at full tilt - President Johnson stated:
'We intend to press for legislative authority to negotiate trade agreements which could
extend MOST-FAVORED-NATION tariff treatment to European COMMUNIST states...We
will REDUCE EXPORT CONTROLS on East-West trade with respect to hundreds of non-
strategic items.' Six days later, the 'NEW YORK TIMES' told its readers: 'The United States
put into effect today one of President Johnson's proposals for stimulating East-West trade
by removing restrictions on the export of more than 400 COMMODITIES to the Soviet
Union and Eastern Europe.' Among the 'non-strategic items' cleared for export were:
petroleum, aluminum, scrap metal, synthetic rubber, tires, AIR NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT,
GROUND AND MARINE RADAR, RIFLE-CLEANING COMPOUNDS, DIETHYLENE GLYCOL
(used in the manufacture of EXPLOSIVES), COMPUTERS, ELECTRIC MOTORS, ROCKET
ENGINES, diesel engines, diesel fuel, and various truck and automobile parts. [247]

"...TWO WEEKS AFTER the announcement (OCTOBER 27, 1966), the 'NEW YORK
TIMES' reported: 'The Soviet Union and its allies agreed at the conference of their
leaders in Moscow last week to GRANT NORTH VIETNAM ASSISTANCE in material and
money amounting to about $1 BILLION.' [Yeah, thanks to the generosity of their "ENEMY"
- the United States!] Bombing the Ho Chi Minh Trail to inderdict the enemy's supplies
made no sense when we were enriching the SOURCE of those supplies. Trade that
would have been labeled 'TREASON' in World War II was called 'BUILDING BRIDGES'
[So THAT's where KLINTON gets that term!] during the Vietnam War. This, along with the
self-destructive restrictions on the military, were TWO of the reasons why we could not
DEFEAT tiny North Vietnam, whereas it had taken us less than four years to overcome
the combined might of the German and Japanese empires." [248] Agreed, James, but
there is oh, so much MORE! Read on:

"During his years as Secretary-General, Thant constantly feigned concern about
'RACISM' in the world...but was always careful to IGNORE 'racism' in COMMUNIST
countries. After concluding the UN's bloody war against BLACK-RULED, ANTI-
COMMUNIST KATANGA, he turned his attention to the WHITE-RULED ANTI-COMMUNIST
regimes in South Africa and Rhodesia. Under Thant's leadership, RHODESIA became (on
DECEMBER 16, 1966) the target of the FIRST economic sanctions ever voted by the UN."
[249] See, folks: Thant wasn't racist at all - he was just partial to RED!

"TABLES SUPPLIED BY THE ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION [AEC] listing the
amounts of radioactivity discharged into the water and air by commercial nuclear power
plants in the United States listed many plants as actually releasing HUNDREDS OF
THOUSANDS OF TIMES as much RADIOACTIVITY into the air as others...Some of the
many different isotopes contained in these gaseous and liquid discharges, such as
cesium and strontium, were regarded as HAZARDOUS at levels as low as ONE TEN-
BILLIONTH OF A CURIE PER DAY in MILK or FOOD. A SINGLE curie of IODINE 131 could
make 10 BILLION QUARTS OF MILK UNFIT for continuous consumption, according even
to the existing guidelines adopted by the federal government. Such large releases of
radioactivity were in fact COMPARABLE TO FALLOUT from small tactical NUCLEAR
WEAPONS. Although dilution in the air would REDUCE the hazard to people living MORE
THAN FIFTY MILES AWAY from these plants, those living nearby were unknowingly
accepting vastly greater risks to the health of their children.

"Furthermore, the PERMISSIBLE LEVELS listed for many of the reactors were
ENORMOUS. For the Dresden reactor, located some fifty miles from CHICAGO, which had
emitted 260,000 curies of radioactive gases in 1967, the PERMISSIBLE amount had been
set at 22,000,000 CURIES PER YEAR by the AEC! Thus, in terms of permissible levels, the
huge amount actually released could be, and was, cited by the power company as
representing only about 1 PERCENTof the maximum levels allowed...It was becoming
clear that the permissible levels of radiation from nuclear plants COULD NOT BE
LOWERED, as some scientists were beginning to urge, WITHOUT HAVING TO SHUT THE
HUGE PLANT DOWN only a few years after it had been built at a cost of well over a 100
MILLION DOLLARS. In fact, pressures were actually building up from industry and the
military to RAISE the permissible discharges to the environment from nuclear activities,
especially in the event of an accidental heavy release from a reactor or from fallout if
weapons tests in the atmosphere were ever renewed." [250]

What in tarnation is the MATTER with these idiots??? Don't they realize they are
endangering - and possibly KILLING - their FAMILIES and THEMSELVES - as well as their
COMMUNITIES??!!!

"During the 50s...ARISTOTLE ONASSIS became incredibly rich through the
gambling industries in Monaco and Cuba. With Kennedy safely out of the way, in 1967
Onassis took over LAS VEGAS, using his 'HUGHES' cover. Government officials said it
was alright, on the grounds that 'at least Hughes isn't the MAFIA!' " [251]

"In 1967, the CIA and Department of Defense implemented 'PROJECT MKNAOMI,'
successor to 'MKULTRA' and designed to MAINTAIN, STOCKPILE and TEST BIOLOGICAL
and CHEMICAL WEAPONS." [252]

One of the most ABSURD rulings by the SUPREME COURT took place in 1967. "A
kindergarten teacher had her students recite this poem [you may remember this from
your childhood]: 'WE THANK YOU FOR THE FLOWERS SO SWEET; WE THANK YOU FOR
THE FOOD WE EAT; WE THANK YOU FOR THE BIRDS THAT SING; WE THANK YOU FOR
EVERYTHING.' ...A dissenting judge in this decision offered an insightful observation
about the court's ruling:

'Despite the ELIMINATION of the word 'GOD' from the children's recital of thanks,
[DeSpain] maintains...that that word is still there in the MINDS of the children. Thus we
are asked as a court to prohibit, not only what these children are saying, but also what
[DeSpain] THINK[S] the children are THINKING...One who seeks to convert a child's
SUPPOSED thought into a VIOLATION of the Constitution of the United States is placing a
meaning on that historic doctrine which would have SURPRISED the FOUNDING
FATHERS.' [253] [To say the LEAST!] The Supreme Court allowed the decision of the
Illinois District Court to STAND. The dissenting judge was amazed that the court would
conclude that it was UNCONSTITUTIONAL for school children to THINK about God!" [It IS
- if we are talking about the COMMUNIST Constitution!]

"While Nasser continued to make speeches threatening war, ARAB TERRORIST
ATTACKS grew more frequent. In 1965, 35 RAIDS were conducted against Israel. In 1966,
the number increased to 41. In just the first four months of 1967, 37 ATTACKS were
launched. [254] Meanwhile, SYRIA's attacks on Israeli kibbutzim from the Golan Heights
provoked a retaliatory strike on APRIL 7, 1967, during which Israeli planes shot down 6
Syrian MIGs. Shortly thereafter, the SOVIET UNION - which had been providing military
and economic aid to both SYRIA and EGYPT - gave Damascus information alleging a
massive Israeli military buildup in preparation for an attack. Despite Israeli denials,
SYRIA decided to invoke its DEFENSE TREATY with Egypt.

"On MAY 15, Israel's Independence Day, Egyptian troops began moving into the
Sinai and massing near the Israeli border. By MAY 18, Syrian troops were prepared for
battle along the Golan Heights. NASSER ordered the UN EMERGENCY FORCE, stationed
in the Sinai since 1956, to WITHDRAW on MAY 16. Without bringing the matter to the
attention of the GENERAL ASSEMBLY, as his predecessor had promised, Secretary-
General U Thant COMPLIED with the demand. After the withdrawal of the UNEF, the
'VOICE OF THE ARABS' proclaimed (MAY 18, 1967): 'As of today, there no longer exists an
international emergency force to protect Israel. We shall exercise patience no more. We
shall not complain any more to the UN about Israel. The sole method we shall apply
against Israel is TOTAL WAR, which will result in the EXTERMINATION OF ZIONIST
EXISTENCE'." [255]

"An enthusiastic echo was heard MAY 20 from Syrian Defense Minister HAFEZ
ASSAD: 'Our forces are now entirely ready not only to repulse the aggression, but to
initiate the act of liberation itself, and to EXPLODE THE ZIONIST PRESENCE in the Arab
homeland. The Syrian army, with its finger on the trigger, is united....I, as a military
man, believe that the time has come to enter into a BATTLE OF ANNIHILATION'." [256]

"On May 22, Egypt closed the STRAITS OF TIRAN to all Israeli shipping and all
ships bound for EILAT. This blockade cut off ISRAEL'S ONLY SUPPLY ROUTE WITH ASIA
and STOPPED THE FLOW OF OIL from its main supplier, IRAN." [257] Nasser was fully
aware of the pressure he was exerting to force Israel's hand. The day after the blockade
was set up, he said defiantly: 'The Jews threaten to make war. I reply: WELCOME! We
are READY for war'." [258] [He] challenged Israel to fight almost daily. 'Our basic
objective will be the DESTRUCTION OF ISRAEL. The Arab people want to fight,' he said
on MAY 27. The following day, he added: 'WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY...COEXISTENCE
WITH ISRAEL...Today the issue is not the establishment of peace between the Arab
states and Israel....The war with Israel is in effect since 1948.'

"KING HUSSEIN of Jordan signed a DEFENSE PACT with Egypt on MAY 30. Nasser
then announced: 'The armies of Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon are poised on the
borders of Israel...to face the challenge, while standing behind us are the armies of Iraq,
Algeria, Kuwait, Sudan and the WHOLE ARAB NATION. This act will astound the world.
Today they will know that the Arabs are arranged for battle, the critical hour has arrived.
We have reached the stage of SERIOUS ACTION and not declarations'." [259]

"In MAY 1967 a meeting was organized by the Scientific and Technological
Committee of the North Atlantic Assembly and the Foreign Policy Research Institute. It
was called 'CONFERENCE ON TRANSATLANTIC IMBALANCE AND COLLABORATION' and
it was held at QUEEN ELIZABETH's palatial property in Deauville, France. The basic
purpose and intent of the conference at Deauville was to END U.S. technological and
industrial progress. Out of the conference came two books...BRZEZINSKI's
'TECHNOTRONIC ERA.' The other was written by conference chairman, AURELLIO
PECCEI, entitled 'THE CHASM AHEAD'...Peccei insisted that the SOVIET UNION must be
offered 'a CONVERGENCE with NATO,' such a convergence ending in an EQUAL
partnership in a New World Order with the United States. Both nations would be
responsible for future 'crisis management and global planning.' The first Club of Rome's
'GLOBAL PLANNING CONTRACT' went to the MASSACHUSETTS INSTITUTE OF
TECHNOLOGY (MIT), one of the premier Committee of 300's research institutes...

"What was their report all about? It...preached...NOT ENOUGH NATURAL
RESOURCES to go around. The FORRESTOR-MEADOWS REPORT was a complete
FRAUD. What it did not say was that man's proven inventive genius would in all
likelihood work its way around 'shortages.' Fusion energy, the DEADLY ENEMY of the
Committee of 300, could be applied to CREATING natural resources. A FUSION TORCH
could produce from one square mile of ordinary rock enough ALUMINUM, for example,
to fill our needs for 4 years." [260]

"Texas oil billionaire, NELSON BUNKER HUNT used a new, sophisticated
SATELLITE technique to detect global deposits of oil. In MAY, he discovered a huge, as
yet untapped field in the GREAT SOUTH BASIN, south of New Zealand." [261]

"President ABDUR RAHMAN AREF of Iraq joined in the war of words: 'The
existence of Israel is an ERROR which must be RECTIFIED. This is our opportunity to
wipe out the IGNOMINY [Disgrace; shame] which has been with us since 1948. Our goal
is clear - to WIPE ISRAEL OFF THE MAP'." [262] "On June 4, IRAQ joined the military
alliance with Egypt, Jordan and Syria. The Arab rhetoric was matched by the
mobilization of Arab forces. Approximately 250,000 TROOPS (nearly half in Sinai), more
than 2,000 TANKS and 700 AIRCRAFT ringed Israel." [263] By this time, Israeli forces had
been on alert for three weeks. The country could not remain fully mobilized indefinitely,
nor could it allow its sea lane through the GULF OF AQABA to be interdicted. Israel had
NO CHOICE but preemptive action. To do this successfully, Israel needed the element of
SURPRISE. Had it waited for an Arab invasion, Israel would have been at a potentially
catastrophic disadvantage. On JUNE 5, the order was given to ATTACK EGYPT.

"The UNITED STATES tried to prevent the war through NEGOTIATIONS, but it was
not able to persuade Nasser or the other Arab states to cease their belligerent
statements and actions. Still, right before the war, [President Lyndon Johnson warned:
'Israel WILL NOT BE ALONE unless it DECIDES to go alone'." [264] "Then, when the war
began, the State Department announced: 'Our position is NEUTRAL in THOUGHT, WORD
AND DEED.' [265] Moreover, while the Arabs were FALSELY accusing the United States of
airlifting supplies to Israel, Johnson imposed an ARMS EMBARGO on the region
(FRANCE, Israel's other main arms supplier also embargoed arms to Israel).

"By contrast, the SOVIETS were supplying MASSIVE amounts of arms to the
ARABS. Simultaneously, the armies of Kuwait, Algeria, Saudi Arabia and Iraq were
contributing TROOPS and ARMS to the Egyptian, Syrian and Jordanian fronts. [266]
Prime Minister LEVI ESHKOL sent a message to KING HUSSEIN saying Israel would not
attack Jordan UNLESS he initiated hostilities. When Jordanian radar picked up a cluster
of PLANES flying from Egypt to Israel, and the Egyptians convinced Hussein the planes
were theirs, he then ordered the SHELLING OF WEST JERUSALEM. It turned out the
planes were Israel's, and were returning from destroying the EGYPTIAN AIR FORCE on
the ground.

"After Jordan launched its attack on JUNE 5, approximately 325,000
PALESTINIANS in the West Bank fled. [267] ...On JUNE 8, 1967...the Israeli high command
received reports that Israeli troops in EL ARISH were being fired upon from the sea,
presumably by an EGYPTIAN vessel as they had a day before...the USS LIBERTY, an
AMERICAN intelligence ship assigned to MONITOR the fighting, arrived in the area, 14
miles off the Sinai coast...messages directing the ship not to approach WITHIN 100
MILES were NOT RECEIVED by the Liberty. The Israelis mistakenly thought this was the
ship doing the shelling and war planes and torpedo boats attacked, KILLING 34...and
WOUNDING 171...The day fighting began, Israel had asked that American ships be
REMOVED from its coast or that it be NOTIFIED of the precise location of U.S. vessels."
The Sixth Fleet was moved because President Johnson feared being drawn into a
confrontation with the SOVIET UNION. He also ordered that NO AIRCRAFT be sent near
Sinai.

"According to Israel's Chief of Staff, YITZHAK RABIN's memoirs, there were
standing orders to attack any UNIDENTIFIED vessel near the shore... Once the Israelis
were sure what had happened, they reported the incident to the U.S. Embassy in Tel
Aviv and offered to provide a helicopter for the Americans to fly out to the ship and any
help they required to evacuate the injured and salvage the ship. The offer was accepted
and a U.S. naval attache` was flown to the Liberty. The sea was calm and the U.S. Navy
Court of Inquiry found that the FLAG was very likely drooped and NOT DISCERNIBLE;
moreover, members of the crew, including the Captain, COMMANDER WILLIAM MC
GONAGLE, testified that the flag was knocked down after the first or second assault."

"After just SIX DAYS of fighting, Israeli forces broke through the enemy lines and
were in a position to march on Cairo, Damascus and Amman. A CEASE-FIRE was
invoked on JUNE 10. The victory came at a very high cost. In storming the Golan Heights,
Israel suffered 115 DEAD - roughly the number of Americans killed during 'Operation
Desert Storm.' Altogether, Israel lost TWICE as many men - 777 DEAD and 2,586
WOUNDED - in proportion to her total population as the U.S. lost in 8 YEARS of fighting in
VIETNAM. [269] Also, despite the incredible success of the air campaign, the Israeli Air
Force lost 46 of its 200 FIGHTERS. [270] By the end of the war, Israel had conquered
enough territory to more than TRIPLE the size of the area it controlled, from 8,000 to
26,000 square miles. The victory enabled Israel to UNIFY JERUSALEM. Israeli forces had
also captured the Sinai, Golan Heights, Gaza Strip and West Bank. Israel now ruled
more than THREE-QUARTERS OF A MILLION PALESTINIANS - most of whom were hostile
to the government. Nevertheless, more than 9,000 Palestinian families were REUNITED in
1967. Ultimately, more than 60,000 Palestinians were allowed to RETURN." [271]

"Israel's leaders fully expected to negotiate a peace agreement with their
neighbors that would involve some territorial compromise. Therefore, instead of
annexing the West Bank, a MILITARY ADMINISTRATION was created. No occupation is
pleasant for the inhabitants, but the Israeli authorities did try to minimize the impact on
the population. DON PERETZ, a frequent writer on the situation of Arabs in Israel and a
SHARP CRITIC of the Israeli government, visited the West Bank shortly after the Israeli
troops had taken over. He found they were trying to RESTORE NORMAL LIFE and prevent
any incidents that might encourage the Arabs to leave their homes.

"Except for the requirement that school texts...be PURGED of anti-Israel and anti-
Semitic language, the authorities tried not to interfere with the inhabitants. They did
provide ECONOMIC assistance; for example, PALESTINIANS in the Gaza Strip were
moved from camps to new homes. This stimulated protests from EGYPT, which had done
nothing for the refugees when it controlled the area. Arabs were given FREEDOM OF
MOVEMENT. They were allowed to travel to and from Jordan." [272] Israeli forces
ordered a handful of Palestinians to move for 'strategic and security reasons.' In some
cases, they were allowed to return in a FEW DAYS, in others; Israel offered to HELP
them resettle elsewhere." [273]

"In 1956, the United States gave Israel assurances that it recognized the Jewish
State's right of ACCESS to the STRAITS OF TIRAN. In 1957, at the UN, 17 maritime
powers declared that Israel had a right to transit the Strait. Moreover, the blockade
violated the CONVENTION ON THE TERRITORIAL SEA AND CONTIGUOUS ZONE, which
was adopted by the UN Conference on the Law of the Sea on April 27, 1958. [274]
President Johnson expressed the belief that the blockade was ILLEGAL and
unsuccessfully tried to organize an INTERNATIONAL FLOTILLA to test it. After the war, he
acknowledged the closure of the Strait of Tiran was the CASUS BELLI (JUNE 19, 1967): 'If
a SINGLE act of folly was more responsible for this explosion than any other it was the
arbitrary and dangerous announced decision that the Strait of Tiran would be closed.
The right of innocent maritime passage must be preserved for ALL nations'." [275]

REPORT FROM IRON MOUNTAIN was published in JUNE, 1967 generating "heated
public debate. Was it an AUTHENTIC report? A brillian SATIRE? A cruel HOAX?
subsequent events, plus the release of other government studies...and the admissions by
many of those at the center of the environmentalist movement...argue for the report's
authenticity...professor JOHN KENNETH GALBRAITH later admitted HE was 'a member of
the conspiracy' [his words] that produced the book." [276] The Report found that:

"WAR ITSELF IS THE BASIC SOCIAL SYSTEM...The ELIMINATION of war implies
the inevitable elimination of NATIONAL SOVEREIGNTY and the traditional nation-
state...WITHOUT IT, no government has ever been able to obtain acquiescence
[acceptance] in its 'LEGITIMACY,' or right to rule its society...The basic authority of a
modern state over its people resides in its war powers...On a day-to-day basis, it is
represented by the institution of POLICE, armed organizations charged expressly with
dealing with 'INTERNAL ENEMIES' in a MILITARY manner. Like the conventional
'external' military, the police are also substantially EXEMPT from many civilian LEGAL
RESTRAINTS on their social behavior... [i.e., They are "above the law"]

"...the continuance of the war system must be assured, if for no other reason...to
preserve whatever quality and degree of POVERTY a society REQUIRES as an incentive,
as well as to maintain the STABILITY of its INTERNAL ORGANIZATION OF
POWER...military institutions...provide ANTISOCIAL elements with an ACCEPTABLE
ROLE in the social structure...'JUVENILE DELINQUENCY' and 'ALIENATION' - have had
their counterparts in every age. In earlier days these conditions were dealt with directly
by the military WITHOUT THE COMPLICATIONS OF DUE PROCESS, usually through press
gangs or OUTRIGHT ENSLAVEMENT...[Today] the younger, and MORE DANGEROUS, of
these hostile social groupings have been kept under control by the SELECTIVE SERVICE
SYSTEM [277]...the war system...serves to RATIONALIZE most NONMILITARY KILLING. It
also provides the PRECEDENT for the collective willingness of members of a society to
pay a BLOOD PRICE for institutions far less central to social organization than war. To
take a handy example, '...rather than ACCEPT SPEED LIMITS of 20 MPH we prefer to let
automobiles KILL 40,000 people a year.' [278]

"...a viable SUBSTITUTE FOR WAR as a social system...must involve REAL risk
of...PERSONAL DESTRUCTION...In human societies, those who fight and die in wars for
survival are in general its biologically STRONGER members. This is NATURAL
SELECTION in REVERSE...ECONOMIC SURROGATES for war must meet two principal
criteria. They must be 'WASTEFUL'...and they must operate OUTSIDE the normal supply-
demand system...An economy advanced and complex as our own requires the PLANNED
AVERAGE ANNUAL DESTRUCTION of not less than 10 PERCENT of gross national
product...

"CREDIBILITY...lies at the heart of the problem of developing a POLITICAL
SUBSTITUTE for war...[It] would require 'ALTERNATE ENEMIES'...It may be...that GROSS
POLLUTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT can eventually replace the possibility of mass
destruction by nuclear weapons as the principal APPARENT threat to the survival of the
species...the RATE of pollution could be INCREASED SELECTIVELY for this purpose; in
fact, the mere MODIFYING of existing programs for the deterrence of pollution could
SPEED UP the process enough to make the threat credible much sooner...It is more
probable...that such a threat will have to be INVENTED, rather than developed from
unknown conditions...Another possible surrogate for the control of potential enemies of
society is the REINTRODUCTION...OF SLAVERY...the fantasies projected in 'BRAVE NEW
WORLD' and '1984' have seemed LESS AND LESS IMPLAUSIBLE [farfetched] over the
years since their publication...It is entirely possible that the development of a
SOPHISTICATED FORM OF SLAVERY may be an absolute PREREQUISITE for social
control in a world at peace. As a practical matter, conversion of the CODE OF MILITARY
DISCIPLINE to a EUPHEMIZED FORM OF ENSLAVEMENT would entail surprisingly little
revision; the logical FIRST STEP would be the adoption of some form of 'UNIVERSAL'
MILITARY SERVICE... [Ah! You mean like UN or NATO troops!]

"Games theorists have suggested...the development of 'BLOOD GAMES' for the
effective control of individual aggressive impulses. It is an ironic commentary on the
current state of war and peace studies that it was left not to scientists but to the makers
of a commercial film ["THE TENTH VICTIM"] to develop a MODEL for this notion...as a
ritualized MANHUNT. More realistically, such a ritual might be SOCIALIZED, in the
manner of the SPANISH INQUISITION and the less formal WITCH TRIALS...for purposes
of 'SOCIAL PURIFICATION,' 'STATE SECURITY,' or other rationale..

"War has not been genetically progressive. But as a system of gross
POPULATION CONTROL...it cannot fairly be faulted...CURRENT TRENDS in warfare
[include] increased strategic bombing of CIVILIANS and...the destruction of SOURCES of
supply (as opposed to purely 'military' bases and personnel)...a universal requirement
that PROCREATION be LIMITED to the products of ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION would
provide a fully adequate substitute control for population levels. Such a reproductive
system would...have the added advantage of being susceptible of DIRECT EUGENIC
MANAGEMENT. Its predictable further development - CONCEPTION and EMBRYONIC
GROWTH taking place wholly under LABORATORY conditions - would extend these
controls...The indicated intermediate step - total control of conception with a variant of
the...'pill,' VIA WATER SUPPLIES or certain ESSENTIAL FOODSTUFFS, offset by a
controlled 'antidote' - is already UNDER DEVELOPMENT...

[In connection with the last comment, I would just like to add an observation of
my own: This was THIRTY YEARS AGO - and back then very few couples had to go to
"FERTILITY CLINICS" to have children. Now, a very LARGE percentage of married
couples find it necessary to undergo all kinds of indignities to have a child - and they are
not always successful. And I notice that they are PUSHING THIS IDEA more and more in
MOVIES and SITCOMS on TV, and in other areas of the media - conveying the notion
that this condition is NORMAL!]

In SUMMARY: "The following SUBSTITUTE INSTITUTIONS...have been proposed
for consideration as replacements for the nonmilitary functions of war...An omnipresent,
virtually ominpotent INTERNATIONAL POLICE FORCE; An established and recognized
EXTRATERRESTRIAL menace; FICTITIOUS alternate ENEMIES; A modern sophisticated
form of SLAVERY; Intensified ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION; NEW RELIGIONS or other
MYTHOLOGIES; Socially-oriented BLOOD GAMES; [and] A comprehensive program of
APPLIED EUGENICS... The bottom line: THE PRICE OF PEACE IS, SIMPLY TOO HIGH."
[279] As a researcher, I know scientists must be unemotional and clinically impartial, but
didn't ANY of these idiots realize the kind of nightmare world they were recommending
would effect THEM - and their CHILDREN?

"In JUNE, "HUNT reached an agreement with New Zealand finance minister: he
would be given SOLE drilling rights, in exchange for a $100,000 (US) 'non-repayable
loan' [The new euphamism for BRIBE] to MULDOON, from Hunt's Placid Oil Company."

No more history, no more Constitution? "In NOVEMBER, 'THE NEA JOURNAL'
published 'THE NEW SOCIAL STUDIES,' in which one reads: 'Probably the most obvious
change occurring in the social studies curriculum is a BREAKING AWAY from the
traditional dominance of HISTORY, GEOGRAPHY, and CIVICS. Materials from the
behavioral sciences...SOCIOLOGY, SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY...are being incorporated into
both ELEMENTARY and SECONDARY school programs." [I want to know WHO gave these
mad scientists permission to STOP TEACHING OUR CHILDREN "'readin', writin' and
'rithmetic" anyway? What are we sending them to school for, if they aren't going to learn
anything? They aren't being taught - they are being BRAINWASHED - AGAINST US AND
EVERYTHING WE BELIEVE IN! Well, don't feel bad, there may not be many books left in
school, but our children sure won't suffer from a lack of CONDOMS]:

On NOVEMBER 17th, 'THE BALTIMORE SUN' carried 'STUDY SAYS NEGRO
FIRSTBORN IN CITY ARE 61% ILLEGITIMATE.' [Got a feelin' these numbers are "COOKED"
like all their other numbers they TWIST to fit their own agenda!] In any event, the article
reported that "after U.S. SENATORS JOSEPH TYDINGS (MD) and DANIEL PATRICK
MOYNIHAN (NY) noted the high numbers of illegitimate births among the blacks, they
'agreed that the only apparent immediate SOLUTION to the problem was an intense
public school program that would combine SEX EDUCATION with actual DISTRIBUTION
OF CONTRACEPTIVE DEVICES.' Moynihan declared that distributing 'contraceptive
devices to high school, junior high and GRAMMAR SCHOOL CHILDREN represented the
only RESPONSIBLE course you can take'...

[See how nicely these numbers work for their LIBERAL, GLOBAL agenda? After
taking their 'SEX EDUCATION' classes, Of COURSE they need some kind of 'contraceptive
device': because what they are REALLY teaching in those classes is not the DANGERS of
promiscuity, but - which KINDS of sex are "POLITICALLY CORRECT!"]

YIPEE! We finally have some GOOD news for our side: In that same year,
"PARENTS RIGHTS, INC. was founded with its purpose to secure LEGAL RECOGNITION
for the RIGHTS OF PARENTS to direct and control the education of their children. It
undertakes and supports court action to achieve these goals, and it publishes literature
and other materials to awaken the public to the DENIAL OF THE HUMAN RIGHTS OF THE
FAMILY in education..." [281]

ARTHUR W. GALSTON, a professor of botany at Yale, tried to warn the U.S.
against the continued UNBRIDLED USE OF HERBICIDES in VIETNAM [i.e., Agents Orange,
Blue, etc.]: "We are too ignorant of the interplay of forces in ecological problems to
know how far-reaching and how lasting will be the changes in ecology brought about by
the widespread spraying of herbicides. The changes may include IMMEDIATE HARM TO
PEOPLE in sprayed areas..." [282] "...in CHEMICAL AND BIOLOGICAL WARFARE,
SEYMOUR M. HERSH wrote: 'A 1967 Japanese study of U.S. anti-crop defoliation
methods, prepared by YOICHI FUKUSHIMA, head of the Agronomy section of the Japan
Science Council, claimed that U.S. anti-crop attacks have ruined more than 3.8 MILLION
ACRES of arable land in South Vietnam and resulted in the deaths of nearly 1,000
PEASANTS and more than 13,000 LIVESTOCK. Fukushima said one village was attacked
more than 30 TIMES by C123 crop dusters spraying agents MORE CAUSTIC THAN THE
ARSENIC-LADEN CACODYLIC ACID." [283]

"According to DAVID HOROWITZ, a penitent former leader of the 'New Left,'
SOCIALISM is not a political movement or a philosophy; it is a species of IDOLATRY.
Horowitz was a co-founder of the seminal 1960s radical journal 'RAMPARTS' and a
political comrade of TOM HAYDEN, HUEY NEWTON, and numerous other traitors,
terrorists, and habitues of the Marxist demimonde. In one particularly insightful passage
of his gripping memoir ['RADICAL SON'], Horowitz lays bare the essence of MARXISM:

'After the Russian Revolution of 1905, the philosopher NICHOLAS BERDYAEV
analyzed COMMUNISM as a form of idolatry in a way that proved to be prophetic.
Berdyaev traced the origins of what he called the Marxist 'heresy' back to the TOWER OF
BABEL. In that story, people had tried to achieve their OWN redemption - WITHOUT A
TRANSCENDENT GOD - by building a ladder to heaven. They had projected onto fallible
beings GOD-LIKE POWERS that would enable them to OVERCOME THEIR HUMAN FATE.
In doing so, Berdyaev warned, the Communists had created demons they would not be
able to control'...

"In 'RADICAL SON,' Horowitz compares his book to ex-spy WHITTAKER
CHAMBERS' 'WITNESS.' 'In a letter to his children that serves as a foreword to his book,
Chambers testifies: 'I am an INVOLUNTARY WITNESS TO GOD'S GRACE and to the
FORTIFYING POWER OF FAITH. It was my fate to be in turn a witness to each of the TWO
great faiths of our time.' Of the demonic religion of COMMUNISM, Chambers observed:

'It is not new. It is, in fact, Man's SECOND OLDEST faith. Its PROMISE was
whispered in the FIRST DAYS OF CREATION under the Tree of Knowledge of Good and
Evil: 'YE SHALL BE AS GODS.' [And look how well THAT worked out!] It is the great
ALTERNATIVE faith of mankind. Like all great faiths, its force derives from a simple
vision. Other ages have had great visions. They have always been different versions of
the same vision: the vision of GOD and MAN'S RELATIONSHIP TO GOD. The COMMUNIST
vision is the vision of MAN'S MIND DISPLACING GOD as the creative intelligence of the
world.'

"Chambers was inspired to cross the gulf between the two contending faiths of
our time by an EPIPHANY. At the dinner table one evening, during the period that he
worked in a Communist spy cell with Alger Hiss, Chambers suddenly realized that his
INFANT DAUGHTER 'was the most MIRACULOUS thing that had ever happened in my
life...My eye came to rest on the DELICATE CONVOLUTIONS OF HER EAR - those
intricate, PERFECT ears. The thought passed through my mind: 'No, those ears were not
created by any CHANCE COMING TOGETHER OF ATOMS in nature (the Communist view).
They could have been created only by IMMENSE DESIGN.' The thought was involuntary
and unwanted...Design presupposes GOD. I did not know that, at that moment, the
FINGER OF GOD was first laid upon my forehead.'

"Eventually, Chambers was driven to his knees by a growing sense that HE HAD
CHOSEN THE WRONG FAITH. At first tenative and awkward, his prayers grew into 'a
daily need to which I looked forward. If, for any reason, I were deprived of it, I was
distressed as if I had been DEPRIVED OF SOME LIFE NECESSITY, like water...' Prodded
by the gentle promptings of Providence, Chambers came to realize that the faith to
which he had devoted his life was a human artifact of diabolical design: He realized that
'Man cannot organize the world for himself WITHOUT GOD; without God man can only
organize the world AGAINST MAN.' It is man's REBELLION AGAINST GOD that leads
ineluctably [unavoidably] to the 'gas ovens of BUCHENWALD and the Communist
execution cellars...'

"As he surrendered himself to God in 1937, Chambers wrote, 'There tore through
me a TRANSFORMATION with the FORCE OF A RIVER, which damned up and diverted
for a lifetime, bursts its way back to its true channel. I became what I was. I CEASED to
be what I WAS NOT.' Echoing the PROPHET ISAIAH, Chambers recalled: 'What I had
been FELL FROM ME LIKE DIRTY RAGS. The rags that fell from me were NOT ONLY
COMMUNISM. What fell was the whole web of the MATERIALIST mind - the luminous
shroud which it has spun about the spirit of man, paralyzing in the name of rationalism
the INSTINCT OF HIS SOUL FOR GOD...' The passage from materialist bondage to the
FREEDOM God offers, according to Chambers, 'is a transit that must be made UPON THE
KNEES, or not at all.'

"...Although [Horowitz] describes himself as AGNOSTIC, he acknowledges that
there is a source of morality that transcends materialistic politics...'Since the Fall,' he
writes, 'an angel with a FLAMING SWORD had guarded the gates of EDEN, barring our
way back. The ONLY way to paradise...is through DIVINE INTERVENTION. The idea that
men can be as gods and re-create a paradise on earth is the SERPENTINE PROMISE OF
THE LEFT. It is an IDOLATRY that overshadows all others. When men put on the MANTLE
OF GODS and attempt to REMAKE THE WORLD IN THEIR OWN IMAGE, the results are
HIDEOUS and DESTRUCTIVE beyond conception'." [284]

Wittaker Chambers described my feelings - and the feelings of any true convert -
to a T. And Horowitz had everything right - but he left out the part that he hasn't
discovered yet: The New Testament, specifies the simple and ONLY way to paradise: "I
am the Truth the Way and the Life. NO man cometh to the Father but BY ME." - JESUS
CHRIST

Thanks to RANDY WEAVER [Ruby Ridge], I am sure y'all have heard the quote
from the Bible, "...and every knee shall bow," but I have got a shocker for you: every
knee WILL bow - if not NOW, then later, when it's too late. Collectively, ALL of our knees
are bowing right now. It is just a question of WHO you will bow before: God or Satan
[the State/ New World Order] - and after reading all their PLANS for me - in their OWN
WORDS - my common sense and instincts for self-preservation tell me there is NO WAY
that I am going to bow to a monster like the UNITED NATIONS or the NEW WORLD
ORDER!!!

"By the time ROBERT STRANGE MC NAMARA left office in 1968, he had:

*...REDUCED our NUCLEAR striking force by 50%, while the SOVIETS
had INCREASED theirs by 300%; [with OUR help!]
*...CAUSED the U.S. to LOSE ITS LEAD in nuclear delivery vehicles;
*...SCRAPPED 3/4 of our MULTIMEGATON MISSILES;
*...CUT BACK the originally-planned 2,000 'MINUTEMEN' to 1,000;
*...DESTROYED ALL of our INTERMEDIATE and MEDIUM-RANGE MISSILES;
*...CANCELLED our 24-MEGATON BOMB;
*...SCRAPPED 1,455 of 2,710 BOMBERS left over from the Eisenhower
Administration;
*...DISARMED 600 of the remaining bombers of their STRATEGIC NUCLEAR
WEAPONS;
*...FROZEN the number of 'POLARIS' SUBS at 41, REFUSING to build ANY
MORE missile-firing submarines;
*...REFUSED to allow DEVELOPMENT of any NEW WEAPONS SYSTEMS ex-
cept the TFX (F-111); and
*...CANCELLED 'SKYBOLT,' 'PLUTO,' 'DYNASOAR' and 'ORION' [missile systems].

"It was aptly noted that McNamara, who even called for the ABOLITION of our
ARMED FORCES RESERVES, had inflicted MORE DAMAGE ON AMERICA'S DEFENSES
than the SOVIETS could have achieved in a NUCLEAR FIRST STRIKE!" [285]

YOU SAY YOU DIDN'T SERVE IN VIETNAM OR THE GULF? And you think the
effects of AGENT ORANGE and the GULF WAR SYNDROME aren't YOUR problem? [P.S.
That laughter you hear in the background is ROCKEFELLER!] Well, think AGAIN,
Screwloose! Read and weep:

"There were no crews from CBS to witness the [NATIONAL] FOREST SERVICE's
spraying of BOB MC KUSICK's homestead near Globe, AZ...'The first time was in 1968.
The kids were little, and we were out on the clay deposit in Kellener Canyon with two
dogs, just standing there on my property. A helicopter came across - and we're in plain
sight - and we tried to wave them off, but the spray drifted down ON TOP OF US. I had
no reason to believe it was harmful because the Forest Service said it was completely
HARMLESS to birds and animals and humans and it just worked on brush. But it caused
a RASH, and my dog, Coyote, got PNEUMONIA and almost died. A few months later he
DID die. I notified the Forest Service that we'd been sprayed, but I didn't know the stuff
was bad." [286]

Even the GOVERNMENT wasn't safe: "In 1968, the CIA experimented with the
possibility of POISONING DRINKING WATER by injecting CHEMICALS into the water
supply of the FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION [FDA] in Washington, D.C." [287]
