The loco continues ahead to the front of the train where it will again change tracks to get onto the main line, then reverse back, and be attached to the rakes and haul them back to Lake placid station. The upper picture shows the FP from the short hood end.The picture on the right hand side shows the FP having travelled ahead parallel to the empty rakes resting on the adjoining track |
