Aaaaaand, here's 2003's tree. MUCH, MUCH more attractive, in my opinion.

Unfortunately, we had a Green Christmas this year. An unusually WARM Green Christmas, at that. Yuck.
あいにく今年はグリーン・クリスマスでした・・・しかも珍しく暖かいグリーン・クリスマス。グウェー。

Despite the the ugly Green Christmas we recieved, our house's decorations was radiant in it's beauty.
醜いグリーン・クリスマスにもかからわず僕の家の飾りつけはまばゆいほど美しかったです。

The other houses around mine. Very nice.

On Christmas Eve, my family and I went to my Gransmother's house in order to have dinner with relatives. You may be wondering what it is we ate....To telll the truth, I still don't know..
クリスマス・イブで、親類と夕食を食べるために、家族とおばあさんの家に行きました。何を食べたかなとあなたは考えているかもしれませんね。実は、今でも知りません。

My Grandmother's plastic tree. Small, but colourful all the same.
おばあさんのプラスチックで作ったツリーです。小さいけれど、それでもカラフルですね。

My Grandmother's cute cat, Scruffy. Kind of a cool angle. I had been trying to take a picture of her all night, but it was hard because she would always run away. In order for me to take this picutre, my aunt distracted her with food.
おばあさんのスックラフィちゃんというかわいい猫です。ちょっとダイナミックな角度ですね。彼女の写真を一夜中撮ってみていたけれど、いつも逃げましたので難しかったですよ。この写真を撮るためにおばさんは食べ物で彼女の注意をそらしました。

Here's me and my sister, standing in front of the mountain of presents under the tree on Christmas Morning. ツリーの下のプレゼント山の前に、僕は妹とクリスマス朝で立ちます。

That night we had a succulent turkey for dinner, which is something we always do.
その夜に、毎クリスマスのように美味な七面鳥を食べました。

Oooh, god, I'm so glad I took a picture of this. It was honestly the best thing I ever ate...
あああいいなぁ、こんな写真を撮ってよかった。もっとおいしい物を本当に食べた事がありませんでしたよ。

What's this? It's called a Cracker. It's a tube with little toys inside. We always open them after Christmas dinner.....it's a tradition.
これは何ですか？ クラッカーという物です。小さなおもちゃ入り管ような物です。クリスマス夕食の後でいつも開きます。・・・習慣ですよ。

Opening it is simple: Inside the Cracker, there are two flat sticks. If you pull them at the same time, the sticks break, and make a "bam" sound. The toy will roll out.
開け方は簡単です。クラッカーの中に、平らな棒2枚あります。同時に引くと、棒が折れて［バン」のような音が立ちます。おもちゃはクラッカーから転んで出ます。

Here's most of what I recieved for Christmas. Novels, Japanese particle book. calligraphy set, Lord of the Rings DVDs, loads of candy, etc. I also got a DVD player, but it didn't work.
クリスマスでもらったプレゼントです。小説とか、日本語助詞について本とか、書道セットとか、ロード・オブ・ザ・リングＤＶＤとか、お菓子山とか物です。ＤＶＤプレーヤーももいましたけれど、動きませんでした。
