Theory and Formula.

The four main theories of the Universe; Dualism, Monism and Nihilism,Monolatary(ism).

Dualism-The Theory of Two Creators, Good and Evil, equal.

Monism-One God, and Only One God, a Myth.

Nihilism-Skepticism in God, religious morals,or religion.

Monolatary(ism)- The Theory of One God with many aspects/faces, all approaches to God are "true". The only workable belief system. ~

The Formula of Tetragrammaton.

YOD HEH VAU HEH. The Ineffable name of the Hebrews. The four letters refer respectively to the four elements, Fire, Water, Air, Earth. {in this order} Word of formation; YOD: The formulation of the first creative force of the Father who is called"self-begotten" It is said that the adding of HEH to YOD is the marriage of that Father to the great co-equal Mother. their union brings forth the Son VAU who is the Heir. The Daughter HEH is produced; She is both the twin sister and the Daughter of VAU. YOD HEH reversed is to cross the Abyss. (HEH YOD;Abyss; see Tree of Life glyph). HEH {Daughter} final is the Throne of the Spirit of the Shin of Pentagram. * The YOD will represent a swift and violent creative energy following this will be a calmer and more reflective,but even more powerful flow of will. The irresistible force of a mighty river; this state of mind will be followed by an expansion of the consciousness; it will penetrate all space and this will finally undergo a crystallization resplendent with interior light Magick page 160-161. ALHIM Formula; the elements are all represented, as in Tetragrammaton, but there is no development from one into the others. The are, as it were thrown togather, untamed. The Central letter Heh the letter of breath, and represents Spirit. The first letter Aleph is the natural letter of Air, and the final Mem is the natural letter of Water. Togather, Aleph and Mem make AM the Mother within whose womb the Cosmos is conceived. But Yod is not the natural letter of Fire. It's juxtaposition whit Heh sanctifies that to the Yod of Tetragrammton. We find Lamed for Earth, where we should expect Tau-- in order to emphasize the influence of Venus, who rules Libra. ALHIM represents the formula of Consecration instead of a complete ceremony. Crowley call's it the "Breath of Benediction". In consecration, Aleph is the whirling force of the thunderbolt, the lighting bolt which flames from East to West. The gift of the God of Air. Lamed is the Ox-goad, the driving force; and it is also Balance, representing Truth and Love of the Magician. Yod is the Creative energy--the procreative power; and yet Yod is the solitude and silance of the hermitage into which the Magician has shut himself. Mem is the letter of Water and it is the final Mem, whose long flat lines suggest the Sea at Peace. And then, in the Centre of all broods the Spirit (Heh) which combines the mildness of the Lamb with the horns of the Ram. It is the letter of Bacchus or Christ.

The Formula of Ausar; In Aleph we see Ausar[Osiris] as the Father and Mother of manifested existence. Alive and in full health, breathing the Spirit in to His follows. In Waw/Vau He is buired in the ground from which He is trapped in a growing Tree.{Tree of Life?}. His death has made him a Bridgemaker from this world of flesh to the inner world of the Spirit, thus becoming the Wisdom and Fountian of Mercy.In Shin Osiris/Ausar becomes Perpetual Intelligence, The Last Judgement in the Hall of Truth.As the second Aleph He is the Spirit of the Other World, The Holy Ghost.The Spirit of the AEther. As Resh Ausar become the Inner Sun, the Fount of Inner Wisdom and Strength. The numbers of this fomula are 509/14/5.

IAO Formula; The principal formula of Osiris [Ausar]. I-Isis, A-Apophis, O-Osiris.. Isis is nature ruined by Apophis the Destroyer, and restored to life by the Redeemer Osiris. Osiris is not restored in the " raising" from the dead sense, but restored in a "new and superior condition". The Old is done away with and the New is created to replace it. Joy is Isis, followed by Depression, Apophis, followed by a new awareness of the world and Life, Osiris. In Ritual settings the formula is used in the Third Degree of Masonry, and the 5'=6 ceremony of the G\D\, also The Book of the Spirit of the Living God, Equinox I(3), pages 269-272. A self-initiation ceremony may be constructed with advantage on this formula; 1. robe yourself as a king, 2. stripping and slaying yourself, 3.rising from that death to the Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel. There are Two ways to add the word IAO. 1.I=Yod=Virgo=10 2.A=Aleph=Air=1 3.O=Vau=Taurus=6 Total-17, the number of Aleph,as a Thunderbolt. Wielded by the Creator to further his intent of creation.Aleph/Air is between two Earth signs/symbols, Virgo and Taurus, thus causing the whirling of thier substance into appropriate function of creation. So we have I-Isis as the fertile Earth, A-Apophis as the spring storm, and O-Osiris and the summer growing season. Also the 17th Path is Binah to Tiphareth, and corresponds to Zayin and Gemini. Zayin is the 7th letter of the Hebrew alphabet, "sword", and corrsp. to VII The Chariot, which is the conquest of Mind over emotions. Now Gemini is the Twins, ( see Duality theory) and falls under the element of Air. So we have seen how Air and Earth act upon one another, in this formula, and the Mind of God moving like a thunderbolt, to stir the Earth into Creation, with the Sword of his Intellect. The second way to add this formula is; 1.I=Yod=Virgo=10 2.A=Aleph=1 3.O=Ayin=Capricorn=70 total-81. The mystic number of the Moon, 9x9=81, 8+1=9, Yesod, The Foundation. The 9th letter is Teth, in the Hebrew alphabet. Teth " Serpent",Leo,[fire], the 19th Path Chesed to Geburah, XI Strength. Tarot attributes of the formula;. I=Yod=hand=IX The Hermit. FIAT Formula; F-Pe/80+I-Yod/10+Aleph/1+Taw/400=491 4+9+1=14* 1+4=5. *14 is a number that keeps coming up. 14 path-Daleth Door D - 4 DLTh, Venus, III The Empress Emerald Green [King scale] FIAT- Legal Order/Sanction. I came across this word in a picture by Robert Fluud, His view on the creation of the Universe. A dove makes a circle around the universe, starting of from the Logos, which is FIAT, and comes back to it. Pe/The Tower energy is released to create the Universe, The Word is spoken. Yod/Hermit , A period of intense Ordering ,the Universe expands,The Hand creates. Aleph/The Fool, Space comes in to being ,Spirit moves across the waters of Time. Taw/ The World, Planetary systems forms. Spirit indwells matter. As of this date,8/21/99, this is all I have.
