Domon is the strong man of the group.  He weilds the Dosei ring and acuires the Tetsugan later.
  He becomes stronger with the power of the Dosei and his body becomes like iron due to the Tetsugan.
 He is not the brightess of the bunch but is descent in battle.
 

Mikagami Tokiya is the current wielder of the Ensui and is the successor to the Hyoumon Ken martial arts style..  He is definately one of the cooler characters in Recca.  He is a calm and cold character with a sad past.  When he was younger his sister was killed protecting him when a bunch of thieves came to their house looking for the Ensui.  It is his past that drives him in his quest.  He eventually joins up with Recca and his group in order to find the killer of his sister.  He also seems to have a thing for Recca's hime Yanagi-chan.  She looks a lot like his sister and helps protect her along with team Hokage.  It was revealed late in the series that it was Mikigami's sensei who had his sister murdered in order to increase his potential.  With revenge as a driving factor he was indeed the ideal student and mastered the Ensui and it's attacks.  His skill with a sword is rivaled by no one.  He goes so far in battle that he would use his own blood to power the Ensui when he used up all the water.  A red Ensui is a wicked site to behold.  He appears a bit bishonen in the manga but I assure you he looks a lot cooler in the anime.

Koganei Kaoru is the current wielder of the Kougon Anki.  He starts out as one of Kurei's Uruha Jushinshu lower members. He thinks of Kurei as an older brother but feels he is batrayed by him when he tortures Sakoshite Yanagi.  He later joins up with Recca and his group to protect Yanagi-Chan.  He gets to like Recca after a while and refers to him as Recca Nii-chan (Nii-chan means elder brother and is often a term used by younger children to elder boys).  He is extremely skilled with the Kougon Anki with no equal.  He is something of a child genious with amazing puzzle solving abilities.  It is his skill with puzzles that allows him to wield the Kougon Anki so well.  The Kougon Anki itself is an elaborate puzzle and is an extremely difficult weapon to master.  For most people it takes 10 seconds to change forms, leaving the wielder wide open for attacks, while Kaoru is capable of transforming it in 0.3 seconds!  He is one the more skilled members of team Hokage rivaling the skills of Tokiya Mikagami.
