teenmusic_sugarjones: Andrea: It was embarassing when, at boot camp, the shots that they had of me. One time, I had a cold sore and they had a zoom in...

teenmusic_sugarjones: Julie: Popstars is a great way of getting people or singers/musicians to meet.
teenmusic_sugarjones: They give young talented people a good opportunity.
chujason6: Did you girls write or help write any of the songs on the album?
teenmusic_sugarjones: We had a little input on "Days Like That" and on every song. We hope to write some songs on the next album.

teenmusic_sugarjones: Julie: Never, not at all. :)
teenmusic_sugarjones: Mirella: The support from our family is what keeps us grounded, and what got us here.
lauralovessugarjones: How hard was it for you to keep yourselves a secret during the tv show??
teenmusic_sugarjones: Very hard! The most difficult thing in the world. We couldn't go out together, we had to disguise ourselves. We had different occupations -- we were like "I am a student".. We had to make up fake occupations.
teenmusic_sugarjones: When we found out, we just wanted to share it with the world!

teenmusic_sugarjones: Andrea: In Vancouver, there were girls that made shirts that said "Crazy for Sugar Jones" and then they came to the signing too. They followed us for like the whole day. This shirt was beautiful.

teenmusic_sugarjones: He's a model and his name is Roland. He was really nice. We called him the "blue guy" because he needed to be painted all in blue for the invisible effect.

stiney005: Did you know you were going to make it, or were you afraid the whole way through?
teenmusic_sugarjones: Mirella: We didn't know what to expect. We just tried our hardest, did our best, and we kept focused.
stiney005: How did you decide on the name Sugar Jones?
teenmusic_sugarjones: A vintage book called "Sugar Street" and a film called "Love Jones", mixed with the style and sound of the band made it "Sugar Jones"

teenmusic_sugarjones: We like to keep fit for ourselves, and to keep our endurance up and to not get fatigued.

teenmusic_sugarjones: Andrea: It was a little wierd, but since we all seemed to kind of click right away -- at boot camp even -- it didn't seem that bad. It was fun.

teenmusic_sugarjones: We are in Chatelaine right now -- August issue. And also "What" magazine and "Profile" magazine. And the "Not for Adults" magazine, in grocery stores.

teenmusic_sugarjones: Julie: It depends on when it is happening, I guess. If it would be offered now, there is no freaking way. But right now we are concentrating on music but maybe later on.

teenmusic_sugarjones: Well, we are concentrating right now on Canada. We would like to get more comfortable with our material before we go international. But, we can't wait for the opportunity to go to the states!!
