Dear Parent:
My
name is Mrs. Veith and I will be your son's/daughter's math teacher for
this trimester. My goal is to make my class a learning
environment in which the students can explore and learn with
confidence. I will do everything in my power to see your child
succeed. I will need your
help and support to make this happen.
Here are some ways to keep
track of how your student is doing in my class:
-
We
usually start assignments in class, but most students will need to do some
work at home—expect some homework!
-
Visit my homepage
often. I will updated weekly with information on current
assignments and assessments for the current week.
-
Parent Teacher Conference—call school office (below) for dates.
-
You
may request grade checks on your student (usually done every 2 - 3 weeks)
through the Principal’s Office or you may try the STI link below which
allows you to keep track of your child's process at any time.
Most
importantly, please feel free to call me at school, 458-4150, or e-mail me
with any questions or concerns you may have. I am happy to help any student who is having
trouble or to arrange
for tutoring.
My goal is to see every
child pass my class and together we can make that happen.
Thank
you,
Mrs. Veith
