The 1971-1973 Mustangs maintained the same body style, in 1973 chrome bezels were added to the headlamps and other items on the exterior.
1971 was also the last year of the Big Block option for the Mustang. In 1972 the Cobra Jet name was transferred to the 351 Winsor.
