Snow Cone Carrots
What you need:
Molasses (don't have it? Mix two teaspoons of sugar for every five teaspoons of pancake syrup then stir)
Large Carrots Oatmeal *uncooked* or regular horsey oats :)
Directions
*Cut carrot into pieces *watch your fingers!* two to three inches long
Mix molasses and oatmeal in a bowl large enough for the carrots to fit (one cup of molasses per cup of oatmeal)
Roll carrots in goop *UCK*
Chill carrots overnight, then feed to your equine pal!

Canter Cookies! (TRIED AND SUCESSFUL)
What you'll need:
1 cup uncooked oatmeal
1 cup flour
1 cup shredded carrots
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons corn or vegtable oil
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup malasses
mix ingrediants in a bowl in the order listed.
Make small balls and place on a greased cookie sheet sprayed with pam.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes (make sure they dont burn!)
Horses LOVE them. If you like sprinkle honey over the top before cooked.

EquiMuffins
What you'll need:
one whole apple finely chopped
1/4 cup of water
two carrots finely chopped
maple syrup (about 1/8 cup) or regular syrup (not as much as maple)
1 cup of cooking oats
SMALL MUFFIN TIN (large works too, but they need to be cut)
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl (the mixture should be sticky but not very sticky)
Use a muffin or "cupcake" pan grease it and put about 1 and 1/2 spoons of the mixture in each compartment...
Spread evenly and pack down
Bake for about 10 minutes on 425 degrees
DO NOT TAKE TREATS OUT OF THE OVEN UNTIL THE OVEN IS COMPLETELY COOL OR THEY WILL GET MUSHY!!!!

Homeade Sweety Oats
What you'll need:
2 cups oats 1 cup molasses
1/2 finely chopped apple
1/4 cup water
first you mix them all together, they should be sticky, but not too sticky.
Then bake them in the oven at 425 for about 10 min.
When the 10 min is up, leave the grain in the oven until the oven is cool

Equine Birthday Cake!
What you'll need:
1/4 Cup Bran
1/4 Cup Oats
1/4 Cup Molasses
1/4 Cup Shredded carrots and anything other that your horse likes!
Directions:
Mix the bran, oats & molasses together--use especially a lot of molasses to help the mixture harden.
Then place it in a flat pan & smooth it out like a cake.
Then place the shredded carrots over the "cake".
Then, pour a little bit of molasses over the cake to make it set & harden better.
Decorate it with candles (carrots) & icing (shredded carrots).
Then, let it sit in the fridge over night to harden.
My horsey loves this & so will your's!!

Pony Snaps
What you'll need:
4 cups BRAN
4 cups APPLESAUCE
Directions
Mix ingredients together.
Batter should be doughy.
Roll out with a rolling pin and cut shapes with cookie cutters.
Let dough dry and serve.

Microwavable Horsey Savorables
What you'll need:
2 cups flour
5 cups oatmeal
1/2 cup corn oil
1 clove garlic
1 cup diced carrots
Directions
Combine ingredients in bowl form into small balls which you press down with a spoon
then place in microwavable pan or sheet and microwave on high for 6 minutes per batch.

Studmuffins
Materials
15 cups of sweet feed
48 oz of molasses
3 cups of flour.
Instructions.
In a large bowl, combine sweet feed and molasses.
Add flour until mixture holds together
Half fill muffin tins and pack well
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes

Oatmeal Molasses Cookies
Materials
2 cups of oatmeal (dry)
Half-cup grated carrots
3 tablespoons of molasses
1/2 cup of brown sugar
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl
Add enough water to make mixture into a soft dough
Stir well Form in to cookies ( on a baking sheet)
Put into oven at 365 degrees and bake until golden brown and crisp.
