I love my sisters. They're like my best friends, only better, because they forgive me for, or don't know about, all the stupid things I do. I'm the youngest, so they've known me my whole life, in a more personal way than my parents. It's important to have people like that.
Here are my top ten reasons why I love my sisters:
10. They know a lot. I'd generalize and say that Susannah knows about literature and music and Laura knows about history and feminism, but that's not really true because they both know a lot about a lot of things.
9. Susannah teaches me a lot about boys, which is helpful.
8. Laura goes to a really politically active school. That's admirable, considering my school is kind of lacking in terms of motivation.
7. Susannah plays the violin, and so do my mom and I. That's nice.
6. We know all about the same movies and tv shows that we used to watch when we were younger. For example, they love "The Princess Bride" for the same reasons I do, and they remember the same episodes of "Just the Ten of Us".
5. They worry about me, especially when I show an interest in boys. That's nice.
4. Laura has really good fashion sense. I like to go shopping with her.
3. They both know, love, and loathe little quirks about my family as much as I do.
2. They know what kind of music and movies I'd like, and that's helpful. They don't just know a lot, they're smart too. They know what to do and what to learn.
1. They're my best friends, and I know we'll always love each other, even though if we weren't related we'd never even know the others existed. That makes me happy.
