The Double C Batteries were the first official Tag Team to sign with TWF. When they came, Colton became the 2nd ever TWF World Champion, and with the help of his brother Chad in The Double Batteries they became the TWF Tag Teams Champions off and on as they rivaled the already famous New Age Outsiders from TXW. Despite their great debut however, the Double Batteries like its members soon became quite satisfied with simply being Canadians and no longer minded that they didn't have the gold around their waists. Letting down their fans, they quickly became heels as they let the audience know, "You don't matter! You're just not Canadian!"
