Where's
Waldo is due each Friday. The new topic is posted on Friday.
Students have a week to research and gather at
least 10 facts. The topics may be famous
places, events, or people. The point is to be one of the last ones
in the circle with a fact no one else has at the end of 30 minutes.
Students may use sources from home, the library, Internet, magazines, or
any other valid research tool. This is a home assignment. Time
is not given during the school day. This weekly research is worth
100 points.

Homework
(work not completed in class) will be found in the Take Home Folder.
It is to be completed at home and returned in the folder the next day.

Graded
papers, notes, and letters are sent home daily and weekly. These
will be found in their Take Home Folder. It is the student's
reponsibility to show these to their parents and bring back the necessary
notes or papers.

Not all
graded papers are recorded. Those papers with a score,
percent, and letter
grade are usually recorded in my gradebook.
Papers that are stamped, starred, have a minus number over total number,
or contain comments without a percent or letter grade are usually meant
for practice toward mastery.
