Original engine Mods: 15' BBS Rims (RIP), Home made Ram-Air intake, Grill Work This CRX was my first car, I feel in love with them on a rainy night on my way home from work. I was lookin to buy a car but I only had $3,000 at the time. I thouht I was gonna be stuck with a pile of junk with that much. Well I was driving home one night and saw a white CRX parked on the side of the road with a "For Sale" sign on it. I had to get out and check it out. I got the # and took a couple of peeks inside and fell in love with it. Unfortunately they wanted $5,000 for it. From there on out I kept my eye on the classifides. Then I came accross a white CRX. It was in great working order, it wasn't an Si but I didn't mind. Since then I came met the fine folks at the CRX Resource and became very interested in modding my car and using it to its true potential. I got myself a sweet set of 15' BBS rims, (seen in the Pics) took out the resonater and made a Home made Ram-Air system using my fog light holder as a scoop. I also Cut out the plastic under the bumper and did some grill work. Unfortunately one night I was driving and a almost invisble turn came up, I hit a curb with both my right tires at around 35 mph. That basically destroyed 2 of the rims and the other two are now in my garage. Since then I have poped on the old Steels and Joined the Racing/Cruising Group CR-Xtreme NYC and I'm havin a blast with my car. For the Future I plan on gettin myself a 1st Gen and playing around with that one as a racer. |
