| Maya's Spot on the Web
Maya is our 2 year old Great Pyrenees. She was born Feb 14, 1999.
I first found out and fell in love with the Great Pyrenees breed
when I was working as a pet groomer in Maryland.
We had one come into the shop and her whole demanor and attitude..
what's not to love *G* Victoria was an absolute sweetheart.
So that started us on our search for a breeder and we found Kelly Halgreen.
We went out to visit with her & her pets, we met Maya's mommy
& saw pictures of her daddy. I guess you could say Maya chose me *L*..
i sat down in the floor to get aquainted with all the pups..
(there was a gorgeous male i had my eye on) but maya came up to me
..licked me & proceeded to lie down in my lap & get comfy.
Maya went home with us that night!!
Maya is a real momma's girl to. There's nothing she likes better
than to have a good cuddle, the more she's hugged on..loved on..
the more the tail wags. She adores our nieces & nephews
and will spend hours watching over them.
In my opinion she is a wonderful example of the breed's characteristics.
