Love Is A Complicated Thing
Chapter 1

SPLASH!!!!!!!
“Aaaaaahhhhhh! Oh my gosh, don’t ever do that again!” Yelled a drenched Mina.
“We will if you don’t wake up again and we have to dump water on you!” replied
Lita.
“You are soooooo mean!” Mina said pouting.
“That’s why we’re best friends,” Lita pointed out grinning, “Doesn’t Rae and
Serena fight?”
“Hey!” Serena and Rae yelled in unison.
“Do you guys want to go on this trip or what? If you do we better go to the
airport soon.” Amy said.
“Woah! I better get dressed!” Mina said while frantically getting dressed and
gathering her bags.
“Hello ladies.” Darien started to come into the room then turned and ran. It was
the only thing he could think to do when there was 5 ladies running to the door about to
run him over.
“Hey wait up! Where are you going?”
“Sorry Darien.” Serena ran to Darien, “We’re going to pick up Greg, then go to
the airport.” Everyone had slowed to a walk.
“Hey Ames, when we get to the hotel are you sharing a room with Greg?” Rae
asked with a sly grin.
“Ra,ae!” Amy protested, “We’re not like that yet!”
“Yet?”
“Guys! Come on!”
“Okay, okay.” Rae said

“What are they doing?” An impatient youth said, “Where are they going? Who are
they? Why am I here?” His voice grew higher with each question. “WHAT IS GOING
ON?”
“Ssshhhhh. You will find out in time young one. The only thing I can tell you is
they are the sailor scouts and I loathe them with all my heart.”

When everyone had boarded the plane, and Serena was practically in Dariens lap
with fear of heights, Rae asked Greg the same question.
“So Greg, do you think you and Amy will be sharing a room at the hotel?” Amy
lifted her head off Gregs shoulder and said,
“ Rae, I already told you.” The same time Greg said,
“Maybe.” Every one stared at Greg while Amy’s face went beet red. Rae started
to chuckle than laughed loudly.
“Greg I see you’ve been having some dreams lately?” Now it was Gregs turn to
blush.
“That’s not what I was saying!” Greg protested, but nobody could hear him over
their laughter. Only Amy wasn’t laughing.
“Greg, just what were you saying?”
“Nothing Amy. I would never try to force you to do anything you didn’t want
to!”
“I believe you Greg. Just don’t say anything like that again!”
“All I said was maybe!”

The young and old were watching ‘The screen’. ‘The screen’ is a t.v. like device
except switching channels was changing from person to person.
“Why are we doing this? What’s so important about this?” The young one said.
Serena was playing tic-tac-toe with Darien, Amy was sleeping on Gregs shoulder, Mina
and Lita were laughing over a magazine, and Rae was making cracks about Amy and Greg
to Mina and Lita.
“These are the sailor scouts. The boy with black hair is Prince Darien and I don’t
know who the other one is, Topazite.” The Wise Man said softly.
“Yes I know WHO they are but I don’t know WHY we’re watching them.”
Topazite said impatiently.
“Because they are the sailor scouts, sworn enemy of mine, and they have ruined
every single one of my plans!” The Wise Man shouted, losing his temper. “Salaman is
looking after the other ones.
“Oh,” said Topazite quite shaken from the Wise Mans out burst.
“Yes, now shut-up and watch!”

“We’re finally here!” Mina shouted running to the front steps of the hotel.
“I know. I can’t wait to scope out the cute guys!” Lita shouted to Mina.
“I don’t need to scope out the guys, I got mine right here!” Serena said patting
Dariens arm. Everyone rolled there eyes. Rae came up behind Mina and Lita and said,
"Look at Amy and Greg. She doesen't look to happy about something."
"Your right!" Lita exclaimed.
"Lets try and hear what they're saying!" Mina said. The three of them inched
forward ever so slowly.

"Greg! I can't believe you would say something like that!"
"Amy, look, I'm really sorry. You know I wouldn't ever pressure you to do
something you didn't want to do!"
"All right. I believe you. Just don't imply anything like that again!"
"Okay I won't . But when your ready be sure to tell me!
"Greg!" Instead of answering Amy, Greg just kissed her.

"Awwwww. That's so cute!" exclaimed Rae. Amy and Greg broke apart.
"Come on you guys, let's go inside." As Lita walked inside she heard Greg
whisper to Amy "Seriously consider the idea Amy, if you think your ready tell me."
"This is getting juicy!" Lita whispered to Mina. Mina just grinned.

Mina was lying in bed exhausted from all the shopping they had done. Mina then drifted off to sleep making up the guy of her
dreams.

Mina woke up to the sounds of Serena screaming for food, and Rae screaming
for her to shut-up because there were other people in thhe hotel. Lita groaned and rolled over when Mina turned on the light.
"What time is it?" Lita asked sleepily.
"Ten o'clock. If you don't get up now we're missing precious beach time!" That
got Lita up and running. "Oh ya, sorry Lita we can't go to the beach today."
"Why?"
"Because some guide dude is going to show us around." Mina and Lita both got
dressed and went into the hallway where Amy was sitting leaning against a wall.
"Where are Serena and Rae?" Lita asked Amy.
"They're still in the room, I just couldn't take any more of there shouting." Just
then the girls being talked about walked out of there room and said in unison,
"Let's eat!" The five girls walked down to the restaurant and sat down with
Darien and Greg. Greg looked at Amy and she shook her head. He nodded and mouthed
that's okay. Lita, watching this exchange, leaned over and whispered to Mina,
"I think she just told him that she didn't want to share a room." Mina nodded then
said,
"Guys? I don't feel to good for some reason. I'm going to go outside for a sec."
"I'll come with you." Lita volenteered. The two girls walked out of the hotel, and
the minute they got outside Mina spread her arms out wide and twirled around shouting,
"I love Hawaii!"
"Mina, people are staring, and you didn't feel sick, did you." Lita said rolling her
eyes.
"Nope, I just wanted an excuse to do this!"
"Your're hopeless." Lita said walking back into the hotel. Mina followed her with
a big grin on her face. When they got inside, Serena was digging into a mound of
pancakes, while everyone else was still looking at the menu. Darien saw Mina's raised
eyebrows and said,
"She couldn't wait." Serena looked up to stare at Darien then went back to eating.
Darien smiled at her.

"Okay now, here's the plan, you go back to that accursed planet the sailor scouts
put you and get some more Generals. Bring them back, and i'll tell you the rest of the plan
when they arrive." Topazite bowed and left to do his bidding.

When everyone had eaten, they left to go to the Guide Office, and get a guide.
(A- Duh!) On the way, Rae couldn't help but ask Amy and Greg,
"So, you guys sharing a cabin?"
"No." They both said, although Greg looked sad.
"Ooohhhh, Greg doesn't look happy!" Rae said in a sing-song voice.
"Oh shut-up Rae." Greg said, his face beet red. They walked into the office and
asked the seceretary for a guide to show them around.
"Just a minute please." She disappeared around a corner and came back telling
them to wait in the lobby.
"Pretty fancy place they got just for some some guide dudes." Serena said
looking around.
"Well, since this a really big tourist attraction, they need a lot of 'guide dudes'."
Darien answered her.
"Oh." Everyone sat down and waited, and waited, and waited, until Mina got up
angrily and stormed across the room to go tell the secretary a thing or two, but just as she
ran through the door she collided with a solid body and was flung to the floor. She sat
there looking up into a pair of sparkling green eyes, untill a hand reached out and a deep
voice said
"Need Help?" She took the hand and was hoisted to her feet. Just then she
remembered her anger and let loose.
"Do you have any idea how long we've been sitting here? Two hours doesn't go
by fast, you know. And if you think your going to talk yourself out of this, you've got
another thing coming! I don't know if we should even let you get a guide for us!
"I am your guide, and if you don't stop talking, I'm going to go deaf. The reason
I was so late because I was in an important conference. Now do you think you could close
your mouth?" Mina hadn't even realized her mouth was hanging open, and she was really
mad now. How did he have the nerve to be so rude?
"Of all the rude, obnoxious people! How could you have the nerve!?!" Everyone
else was standing, watching this little shouting match, until Amy went up and put her hand
on Mina's shoulder to calm her down.
"Mina this guy explained why he was so late. And it was for a legitimate
reason." Amy led the still fuming Mina to a chair. Darien went up to their guide and stuck
out his hand saying,
"Hi, I'm Darien Chiba. and this is my wife Serena." Serena poked her head
around Darien, and waved. Sam noticed she had blue eyes and an unusal hairdo. It looked
like meatballs!
"I'm Samuel Hudron. Call me Sam. I'm going to be your guide and stay with you
at the hotel for the month your're here." Darien introduced everyone,
"This is Amy Anderson."
"Hello." Sam saw a shy girl with short blue hair, eyes a deep blue and pale skin.
She was sitting down so he couldn't see how tall she was.
"Lita Kino."
"Hey." Sam looked at a tall, slim girl with forest green eyes, and dark, brown
hair tied up in a ponytail.
"Rae Hino."
"Hi." Sam saw a medium height slim girl with fiery red eyes, and long red hair.
"And you've already met Mina Aino." Sam looked at a fuming, petite girl with
waist lengh silky blond hair with part of it tied back in a blue bow, crystal blue eyes, and a
nice figure.
"Hi, Mina." He said looking for her reaction.
"Hi." She answered pouting. He couldn't help but notice she was cute when she
pouted.
"So, let's go see the sights!" Sam said. Mina rolled her eyes.

"Wise man, I'm back and with five generals."
"Good. Bring them here." Wise Man looked at the five generals. Four men. One
woman. "Your names?" He asked.
"Dimandin."
"Seraphina."
"Deneo."
"Saphiar."
"Emarald." The Wise Man nodded, and said
"Do you remember the Sailor Scouts?" Everyone nodded. The Wise Man
continued, "And how they put you on that dark planet? I want revenge. You want
revenge. For different reasons but we all want to destroy the sailor scouts. I can give you
the pomer to do that!" The Generals were all getting wicked gleams in there eyes, and
howling for the power. Except one. Seraphina. She looked a little uneasy. This did not slip
by the Wise Man. He reached out with his mind, and entered her thoughts. He placed
pictures and thoughts in her head, that made her cry. Pretty soon she was shouting along
with everyone.
"Give us the power to destroy the sailor scouts! Kill!" The wise Man smiled at
the wicked sight before him. Now he would have the power to kill venus. He would have
that power, because, little did they know, but he was not giving power to the Generals, he
was taking it from them. They would be the same as they would before, but he had
duplicated there powers for him. He would let the generals have there fun, but he alone
was going to destroy venus. He would make her pay for killing him. The only way he had
come back to life was sending his soul away, before her attack had hit him.He was now
just a spirit. He would make her pay alright.
End of Chapter 1! Pretty good ay? I love writing fanfics. You should try it too. Oh yeah,
