24x30 oil owned by Johnny Bynum and my sister Yvonne of New Caney ,Texas. Completed in June of 2002.

My Uncle Rueban Staggs served aboard the "Colorado" during ww2. He sacraficed an eye during the bombardment of Okinawa. This 20x36 oil was given to him prior to his passing in 1998.

The Old Place is one of indearing memories of my childhood. Built circa 1850 by the second terratorial Governor of the Indian Territories (Oklahoma). It was used as both a hospital and headquarters during the Civil War. My Uncle and Aunt owns the property and it served as their home until the early 1960's. It fell into decay during the late 70's when I took a photos of the ruins. This is one of my few landscapes and is rendered in oil upon a sheet of 3/4 plywood. The Piece is owned by Aunt Fay Staggs Moody of Wapanucka,Oklahoma.
